  • Patent number: 11256831
Abstract: An information security system and method that provides electric power to an authorized user and denies electric power to an unauthorized user. An administrator requests access for a user, and a site controller generates a key/receptacle tuple for the use. The key/receptacle tuple is communicated to a site power source, which broadcasts the key/receptacle information to all secure receptacles in a facility, or other infrastructure. The key is also communicated to the user. The user plugs in a device into a secure receptacle and provides the key via a secure adapter between the device and the secure receptacle. If the key is valid, the users' device is supplied with electric power; otherwise, electric power is denied to the unauthorized user's device. The usage of the secure receptacles are logged and analyzed by the site controller and reports are communicated to the administrator.

  • Patent number: 10919614
Abstract: An airfoil comprising a main wing and a high-lift body. The high-lift body defines a concave recess. The airfoil further comprises a sealing device having two sealing elements arranged in the concave recess. The sealing elements are plate-shaped and abut sectionally on the high-lift body and have side faces extending perpendicularly to the common rotational axis. When the high-lift body is moved between a retracted position and a deployed position, the sealing elements rotate relative to the main wing and relative to each other, such that an overlap between the sealing elements is smaller when the high-lift body is in the deployed position than when the high-lift body is in the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 5980205
Abstract: A folding fan, more specifically a folding fan used as an advertisement medium. A rectangular shape piece of paper is placed on another paper piece of the same shape, the pieces of paper are opened in such a way that the vertex A at the top right side of one rectangular paper piece is against the center of an opening m selected at a prescribed position on the center line F in the direction of a longer side agrees with the vertex C at the top left side of another rectangular paper piece. The line segment connecting the point E, which is obtained on the vertex side at the bottom right side of the rectangular paper piece at the point where the distance between the vertexes B and D on the bottom side of the two paper pieces opposing the agreed vertex is divided into three equal parts. The agreed vertex A at the top right side of the rectangular paper piece is taken as a bend line, and the rectangular paper piece is folded in the shape of a valley at the bend line.

  • Patent number: 5387084
Abstract: A fan device comprising two flat leaves inseparably attached to a flat hollow handle that serves as an envelope wherein the folded leaves can be tucked away when not in use. The fan opens for use by telescoping the leaves out of the envelope/handle part way, unfolding them, and then inserting side tabs of the leaves into side slots on the envelope/handle. Top center notches on both leaves are then interlocked forming a rigid plane comprising the two leaves joined to each other and to the envelope/handle to become a unit that is sturdy enough to be used for fanning.
