Abstract: A Multi-Purpose Portable Fan, which may include a hand-held-style fan to enhance the atmosphere at an event while having a mobile device application, which may be able to summon aid when needed. The hand-held style fan may have located in a handle and/or otherwise lights, or a fan array with LED lights. The handle may be configured with a multi-position switch, a global positioning system-enabled location transmitter and/or receiver, at least one universal serial bus port, at least one solar panel, a battery status display, a wiring interface for LED lights and/or other included electronic devices, and a mobile device application interface. The mobile device application may include at least one interface such as a sign-in interface, a color-select interface, and a situation interface.

In this instance, the target includes a central axis, a first identification marker with one end connected to the central axis and having a first length outwards, and a second identification marker with one end connected to the central axis and having a second length outwards, the second identification marker disposed on the first identification marker, wherein the second length is shorter than the first length, the first identification marker includes a plurality of first unit areas having a predetermined angle therebetween with respect to the central axis, and the plurality of first unit areas has an overlap between adjacent first unit areas.

Abstract: Personal fan devices that are configured to transition between an open configuration for use and a closed configuration for storage or transport. A fan device includes noisemaking structure(s), such as a rattle and/or a clapper, disposed with the fan device. As the fan device is moved, the handle generates noise as a result of the noisemaking structure(s). A plurality of fan devices may be used to generate high-decibel noises at an event, such as a sporting event or a performance.

Abstract: An information security system and method that provides electric power to an authorized user and denies electric power to an unauthorized user. An administrator requests access for a user, and a site controller generates a key/receptacle tuple for the use. The key/receptacle tuple is communicated to a site power source, which broadcasts the key/receptacle information to all secure receptacles in a facility, or other infrastructure. The key is also communicated to the user. The user plugs in a device into a secure receptacle and provides the key via a secure adapter between the device and the secure receptacle. If the key is valid, the users' device is supplied with electric power; otherwise, electric power is denied to the unauthorized user's device. The usage of the secure receptacles are logged and analyzed by the site controller and reports are communicated to the administrator.

Abstract: An airfoil comprising a main wing and a high-lift body. The high-lift body defines a concave recess. The airfoil further comprises a sealing device having two sealing elements arranged in the concave recess. The sealing elements are plate-shaped and abut sectionally on the high-lift body and have side faces extending perpendicularly to the common rotational axis. When the high-lift body is moved between a retracted position and a deployed position, the sealing elements rotate relative to the main wing and relative to each other, such that an overlap between the sealing elements is smaller when the high-lift body is in the deployed position than when the high-lift body is in the retracted position.

In order to improve the stability of the shield, when it is to protect the carrier against weapons and thrown objects, the shield plates are arranged in two stacks with a respective pivot for mounting and pivoting of the shield plates.

Abstract: A collapsible colander includes a bowl portion and a base portion. The bowl portion is made from a plurality of triangular panels that are pivotally secured together around a central pivot, and slidably joined two adjacent panels by sliding fasteners. Mating fastener components secured to the end panels permit the bowl to be assembled into a bowl shape. The base is a continuous band that is positioned in a generally circular configuration underneath of the bowl to support the bowl when the colander is in use. When the colander is collapsed, the collapsed bowl fits within the substantially flattened base.

Abstract: A scent container for the dispersing of animal scent comprising: a top portion; a bottom portion, where said bottom portion and the top portion are flexibly connected; an absorbent sponge contained in both the top portion and the bottom portion, where the absorbent sponge includes an animal scent; and a clamping portion, where the container attaches to the clamping portion. The clamping portion may include a handle and gripping teeth. The top portion and bottom portion may be interchangeable between a closed position and an open position. The container enables the disbursement of the animal scent when in the open position.

The handle members are separately pivotally connected at one end to two ends of the holding brackets and respectively define a space for receiving two sides of the twisted and folded flexible fan therein when the fan is not in use and the handle members are pushed apart to abut against the frame of the fan. The resulting pleats are gathered and are bound at one end by means of Mylar tape. A decorative disk is mounted at the gathered, tapered end to conceal the tape.
