    Abstract: A vehicle fuel pump module includes a jet pump assembly and feed tube that delivers fuel to the assembly. The module includes, a first choke and a second choke. The first choke is disposed in the feed tube and provides filtering of the fluid and a reduction of pressure within the feed tube. The second choke is disposed in the jet pump assembly and provides a reduction of pressure of fluid within the jet pump assembly. The first and second chokes each include a choke housing that defines a passageway that extends between a fluid inlet and outlet, and a slot that is formed in a surface of the passageway. A ball is fixed within and obstructs the passageway, and abuts the slot. A fluid path defined between the ball and surfaces of the slot provides fluid communication between the fluid inlet and outlet of the choke housing.

An external wall of the movable sleeve is formed with an annular groove positionally corresponding to the partition plate. When the partition plate is pushed under different pressure of cold water and hot water, the movable sleeve is moved to regulate flow ratio of cold water and hot water. Besides, water is received in the annular groove and the gap between the stationary sleeve and the movable sleeve for cushion and lubrication. Thus, the movable sleeve is easier to move for regulation.

Each respective common output flow is directed from each respective piston/cylinder group to a hydraulic actuator on the heavy machinery to control its direction of movement.

The latter takes place, for example, if the kinematic viscosity of the flowing pressure medium decreases due to low ambient temperatures, or if a throughflow of the outflow channel is obstructed. By means of the proposed solution, excess pressure increases in the interior of the piston pump can be avoided, and the resulting loads for the pressurized pump components and the drive can be reduced. Otherwise, the operating behavior of the piston pump according to the invention corresponds to that of a known piston pump.

Adjacent pump heads are offset angularly from one another by an amount sufficient to allow a region of overlap, in an axial direction along the drive shaft, between the adjacent pump heads.
