  • Patent number: 11499539
Abstract: A diaphragm pump comprises a carrier part, a drive motor with a drive shaft, a pump head with a pump chamber delimited by a diaphragm, and an inlet port and outlet port. The pump head is connected to the drive shaft such that the direction of oscillation of the diaphragm is orthogonal with respect to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft. A drive transmission element is mounted on the pump head and is guided in a bearing disk mounted to be rotatable eccentrically, so as to be displaceable orthogonally with respect to the direction of oscillation of the diaphragm, such that the drive transmission element generates the oscillatory movement of the diaphragm in the pump chamber during the rotation of the pump head, and as a result of the rotation a pump medium line arranged therein is alternately connected to the inlet port and the outlet port.

Abstract: A rotary compressor includes a compression mechanism, an electric motor and a controller. The compression mechanism includes a piston and a cylinder having two cylinder chambers. The electric motor is configured to change volumes of the cylinder chambers by eccentrically moving the cylinder and the piston relative to each other. The controller is configured to change an output torque of the electric motor in accordance with a variation in a load torque of the compression mechanism in one turn of rotation.

  • Patent number: 6378504
Abstract: A fuel supply system includes a fuel pump 2 and a housing 1 that are disposed within a fuel tank 6. A damping material 50 is disposed on an upper end portion of a sidewall of the housing 1. The damping material 50 reduces the transmission of vibrations generated by the fuel pump 2 from to the fuel tank 6 to thereby prevent the fuel tank from vibrating. The damping material 50 may include an elastic material having a specific gravity of 0.12 to 0.4. Alternatively, the damping material 50 may include a fuel-resistant paper material.

  • Patent number: 6206661
Abstract: A hermetic compressor includes a compressor mechanism section 40 which includes first and second rotary cylinders 41a and 41b, and first and second pistons 42a and 42b eccentrically rotated in first and second grooves 42a and 43b in the first and second rotary cylinders 41a and 41b, upper and lower bearings 50a and 50b which clamp the first and second rotary cylinders 41a and 41b, and a casing 51. A projection, 64, a projection 66 or a recess 67 is formed on slide faces in the components of the compressor mechanism section 40, whereby the power loss due to the viscosity is reduced remarkably by reducing the sliding area of the slide faces. Thus, the efficiency of the compressor can be enhanced, and the inclination and the eccentricity of the rotary cylinder can be suppressed to the minimum.

  • Patent number: 6102677
Abstract: A hermetic compressor according to the present invention uses a compressing mechanism which includes a rotary cylinder having a groove, and a piston slidable in the groove, so that the piston is rotated on a locus of a radius E about a position spaced apart at a distance E from the center of the rotary cylinder, thereby performing a compression stroke. In this compressing mechanism, the rotary cylinder is rotated and slid within the groove by rotation of the piston on the locus of the radius E about the position spaced apart at the distance E from the center of the rotary cylinder. Therefore, two spaces are defined in the groove by the piston and varied in volume by the sliding movement of the piston, whereby the compression and suction can be carried out.

  • Patent number: 5080563
Abstract: A fuel pumping apparatus of the rotary distributor type includes a main pumping plunger and an auxiliary plunger operable at the same time by a cam. During inward movement fuel is displaced by the pumping plunger to an outlet. The auxiliary plunger displaces fuel to a shuttle bore containing a shuttle and during the initial inward movement a first flow path to drain from the bore containing the pumping plunger is open but this is closed upon further movement of the shuttle until a second flow path is opened. The second flow path includes a groove having an inclined edge so that the angular setting of the shuttle determines the amount of fuel supplied through the outlet. A valve is also provided to allow fuel displaced by the auxiliary plunger to flow to a drain.
