The device comprises a pump house (202-205; 301, 307), a tube or a channel (206) by means of which material is fed to the pump house, a nozzle (111, 205) for feeding material from the pump house (202-205; 301, 307). Suitable upper and lower valve devices are arranged to block, at predetermined times, the feeding of material to and from the pump house (202-205; 301, 307). The lower valve device may possibly be replaced by a restriction device. As is conventional the pump house (202-205; 301, 307) comprises an outer pump cylinder (203; 307) and an inner piston (204; 301). The displacement of the piston (201; 301) is obtained by the fact that the piston is connected to a magnetostrictive rod (202; 308). This rod (202; 308) cooperates with a coil (208) arranged around the rod (202; 308).Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 1994Date of Patent: September 24, 1996Assignee: Mydata Automation ABInventor: Lennart Stridsberg

Patent number: 5544637Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines, where the driving source is the movement of an axle (11) held at the rod head whenever this is activated by the engine crankshaft (10), adjusting such movement by the use of auxiliary pieces (14, 17, 18), in order to get the alternative lineal movement required by the pump which is composed of a piston formed by four cylindric parts (25, 26, 27, 28), first and third part have an even diameter, second and fourth parts have a shorter diameter, the third part has a peripheric channel along it entire length (29), fourth part has an internal channel (30) with holes towards the periphery. The piston displaces within two consecutive sliding cylinders, the first cylinder (31) forms with the piston the compression chamber and at the time of sliding modifies the time when the injection is done. Second cylinder (32) fits into the fourth part of the piston and at the time of sliding modifies the amount of fuel passing from the compression chamber to the injector.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 1995Date of Patent: August 13, 1996Inventor: Hector L. Patent number: 5518376Abstract: A combined housing and air pump has a barrel type outside vessel one end of which is closed and the other end of which is open, a barrel type inside vessel one end of which is closed and the other end of which is open, and an air suction opening and an air discharge opening formed on the closed end of one of the outside vessel and the inside vessel, the inside vessel can be inserted from the opening of the outside vessel, and inside the outside vessel the outer periphery of the inside vessel is substantially very close to the inner periphery of the outside vessel and the inside vessel can rub in the axial direction of these vessels. The air suction opening has a check valve through which an air is allowed to pass only in the air suction direction, and the air discharge opening has removable nozzle separately formed. The container can be carried with things contained in the inside space sectioned by the two vessels.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 1994Date of Patent: May 21, 1996Inventor: Akira Haraoka

Patent number: 4762474Abstract: A bore hole pump which eliminates the need for a piston sealingly engaging with the walls of the pump body. The pump comprises a hollow body closed at its lower end by a non-return inlet valve and slidably and sealingly supporting at its upper end, via a seal, a reciprocating riser pipe which is likewise closed at its lower end by a non-return valve. Upward movement of the riser pipe causes fluid to be drawn into the pump body via inlet valve while downward movement of the riser pipe causes fluid to be expelled from the pump body via outlet valve.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 1986Date of Patent: August 9, 1988Inventor: William J.
