Distributor In Pumping Member Patents (Class 417/484)
  • Patent number: 11365041
Abstract: A pump mechanism for vacuum sealing an airtight cavity formed by a container and a lid, including a bore having a first one-way seal allowing air from the airtight cavity to enter the bore and blocking air inside the bore from returning to the airtight cavity and a second one-way seal allowing air inside the bore to leave the bore without returning to the airtight cavity and blocking air outside of the bore from entering the bore, a piston disposed inside the bore, and a chamber of air enclosed by the bore, the first and second one-way seals, and the piston, wherein actuation of the piston in a first direction causes air to evacuate the airtight cavity and enter the chamber through the first one-way seal, and wherein actuation of the piston in a second direction causes air to exit the chamber through the second one-way seal.

  • Patent number: 10016335
Abstract: A device and method coupled to a therapy garment to apply pressure and repetitive compression forces to a body of a person has a positive air pulse generator and a user programmable time, frequency and pressure controller operable to regulate the duration of operation, frequency of the air pulses and a selected air pressure applied to the body of a person. The air pulse generator has rigid displacers that are angularly moved with power transmission assemblies to draw air into the air pulse generator and discharge air pressure pulses to the therapy garment.

  • Publication number: 20020159901
Abstract: The parts for implementing the invention of the pump with high delivery and low head are illustrated in FIG. 1/10 which shows a tubular circuit bent in accordance with a circumference occupied by way of example by four 2-phase circuits fastened rigidly to a rotor. Each 2-phase circuit consists of a counterclockwise and a clockwise circuit whose direction is defined by two one-way valves each arranged at the beginning of the associated circuit. After the pump inlet the liquid is distributed through the inlets of the 2-phase circuits to the circuits Ci e Ci′. The forces of inertia stressing the liquid mass mc=m0/Nc of each circuit (where mc is the total mass relative to the circumference and Nc is the number of circuits into which it is divided) are proportionate to the same mass mc. Accordingly the acceleration of mc and the corresponding mean velocity Vc are independent of mc.

  • Patent number: 5203684
Abstract: The compressor or similar machine has a first housing component which cooperates with two end members to form a first hollow space as well as a second housing component which cooperates with two end members to form a second hollow space. In addition, a one-piece rocking piston member extends through the two housing components. The piston member carries radially directed wings at one end which are received in the first hollow space while a cylindrical portion is received in the second hollow space for coupling with a crank arm mechanism. The hollow spaces are sealed off relative to each other by a sealing ring which is arranged on the piston member. The piston member is secured in place by a cover member which is bolted to one end member associated with the second housing component. Similar bolt secure the end members associated with the second housing component together.

  • Patent number: 5201644
Abstract: An arrangement for a compressor with oscillating piston wings has a series of mutually angularly displaced discharge slots arranged in a radially extending end wall between a working chamber of the machine and an oppositely disposed discharge chamber. The discharge slots are covered over by valve members of resilient nature. The valve members may be inserted in the end wall with an end groove in a recessed manner to engage a valve seat about each slot.

  • Patent number: 4080114
Abstract: A novel motion translation mechanism is provided for translating rotary motion to reciprocal motion or reciprocal motion to rotary motion. The mechanism is adapted for use in a positive displacement machine for pumping and compressing fluids. A shaft is journaled for rotation within a stationary housing. An inclined annular bearing surface having an annular bearing thereon is integral with the shaft intermediate the journals. Reciprocal motion is imparted to a piston by a yoke ring journaled within the housing and interconnected to the annular bearing. A continuous seal arrangement is carried by the piston. Novel valve means control fluid flow within the machine.
