Having Serial Control Of Inlet Or Discharge Flow Path Patents (Class 417/496)
  • Patent number: 10232989
Abstract: A device for filling or discharging a liquid includes an elongated body, a coaxial closure sleeve mounted axially on the main sleeve, wherein the main sleeve is slidable relative to the closure sleeve and the body and comprises an outlet end on its side remote from the body and an inlet end on the side closer to the body, facing the liquid inlet, at the inlet side the main sleeve has lateral surface outflow openings, a push-button for actuating the liquid outflow located at the outflow end of the device, located on the main sleeve at its outlet end side, which the push-button is non-rotatably mounted thereon, and between the main sleeve and the closure sleeve a sealing diaphragm, as well as the helical spring of the push-button are arranged. The liquid flows by axially displacing the push-button member.

  • Patent number: 10012228
Abstract: A variable fluid flow hydraulic pump including one or more displacement bodies having a fixed volume chamber. Within this fixed volume chamber a piston cycles or reciprocates thus providing for the movement of fluid. Also present is a low pressure valve connecting said displacement chamber with the low pressure side. Additionally, a high pressure valve may be provided on the high pressure side. The low pressure valve is provided with an adjustable element or Fcontrol providing an opening force thereon and further providing a closing force, which periodically increases during the pumping stroke and decreases during the suction stroke of said piston reciprocating within the displacement body and further includes an element to supply fluid from the low pressure side to said fixed volume chamber of the displacement body while the pressure in the displacement chamber is less than that of the low pressure side.

  • Patent number: 5074766
Abstract: A fuel injection pump for an internal combustion engine has at least one pump piston movably disposed in a piston sleeve in a pump housing. The piston includes a first arrangement operable during a stroke in a suction direction for drawing fuel from a suction side of the pump. The piston further includes a second arrangement operable during a stroke in a delivery direction for first cutting off a connection to the suction side of the pump and then initiating delivery from a working chamber into a pressure line. The piston and piston sleeve are provided with a control arrangement which divides the fuel injection into pre-injection and main injection phases. At least one pressure limiting arrangement is provided and is associated with the working chamber. The limiting arrangement is operable during the pre-injection phase when a predetermined engine speed is reached for maintaining the pressure in the working chamber and in the pressure line at a predetermined level.

  • Patent number: 5071325
Abstract: The present invention is a fuel primer pump capable of manually injecting fuel into the carburetor of an internal combustion engine, and is adapted to include both enrichment and shut-off positions. The primer pump includes a housing sealed at one end by an end cap which defines inlet and outlet openings. An internal piston is disposed within the housing for manual pumping of fuel. A relatively free floating valve pin, mounted on the internal piston, prevents an unwanted flow of fuel through the primer pump when the pump is disposed in the shut-off position. The valve pin is slidably retained within a cavity in the piston which opens onto the face of the piston proximate the end cap defining the outlet passageway. The valve pin is spring biased toward the outlet passageway and centers itself in the passageway seat due to the free floating nature thereof. The valve pin becomes disengaged from the seat when the primer pump is placed in the enrichment position, allowing the flow of fuel through the primer pump.

  • Patent number: 4553398
Abstract: A pressure stabilization system for a linear compressor 20 piston 24 in which a check valve 68 and passages 72, 64 within the piston permit communication between a compressor work space and a non-working volume of gas 54 through an orifice 66 in the piston cylinder 30. The check valve and ports allow momentary fluid communication between the dead space volume 54 and the working volume 26. The fluid communication serves to stabilize working volume pressure and counteract the effects of gas leakage about the piston 24 and into the dead volume 54. This fluid communication only occurs when dead volume pressure is greater than working volume pressure and port 66 and 64 are axially aligned.

  • Patent number: 4537284
Abstract: The progressive distributor contains a control piston which is slidable in a cylinder. The piston contains a main channel and a plurality of radially disposed distribution channels for distributing lubricant. The cylinder has feed channels which are aligned with feed channels in a housing of a machine part to be lubricated and are arranged in offset relation to the distribution channels of the piston. The respective distribution channels and feed channels are arranged so that during movement of the piston in the cylinder, the various feed channels are progressively supplied with lubricant.

  • Patent number: 4314797
Abstract: A metering fluid pump including a cylinder and a pumping piston movable therein, the cylinder being configured to define a liquid inlet chamber on one side of the piston and a liquid outlet chamber on the opposite side of the piston. A suction valve for the inlet chamber and a pressure valve for the outlet chamber open simultaneously when the piston is moving in a first direction to simultaneously pump liquid out of the outlet chamber and draw liquid into the inlet chamber. Both valves close when the piston is moved in a second reversed direction to transfer the liquid through a constricted conduit from the inlet chamber into the outlet chamber. In a second aspect of the invention an accumulator may be provided which receives liquid under pressure from the inlet chamber and which transfers the liquid into the outlet chamber when the piston is moved in the second direction and is at the end of its transfer stroke.
