Having Rigidly Attached Imperforate Wall Member Patents (Class 417/548)
  • Patent number: 11708823
Abstract: A plunger actuated valve system is provided. The plunger actuated valve system includes a discharge valve, a stem extending from the discharge valve, and a suction valve coupled with the stem. The suction valve can be operable to abut against a plunger as the plunger translates in a first direction such that the suction valve is in a closed configuration. The suction valve includes a latching component operable to abut against a catch surface of the plunger when the plunger translates in a second direction opposite of the first direction such that the suction valve translates in the second direction.

  • Patent number: 10100818
Abstract: A human-powered pump assembly includes a frame and a treadle pivot attached to the frame, such that the treadle pivot defines a horizontal rotational axis. The pump assembly includes a pair of treadles coupled to the treadle pivot and a rocker pivot attached to the frame, such that the rocker pivot defines a separate horizontal rotational axis. The pump assembly includes a reciprocating rocker coupled to the rocker pivot and to the pair of treadles to constrain the motion thereof, such that the rocker pivot axis is located below the treadle pivot axis.

  • Patent number: 8241020
Abstract: The present invention relates to a piston pump. A piston with at least one transverse bore and a longitudinal blind bore, has a plate element with an opening, arranged on the piston at an opening of the longitudinal blind bore. The invention includes an inlet valve, an outlet valve, and a pressure chamber arranged between the inlet valve and the outlet valve. The inlet valve has a pretensioning element, a closing element, and a sealing seat, which sealing seat is built on the plate element.

  • Patent number: 7540323
Abstract: A rod actuated downhole well pumping system is provided with spaced apart annular elastomer members secured to the pump rod at predetermined intervals to prevent solids particulates entrained in the pumped fluid from settling down to and clogging the pump mechanism during periods of pumping activity. The elastomer members are provided with longitudinal slits so that they may be sleeved over a pump rod without disconnecting the rod from the pump assembly in retrofitted installations. The elastomer members are preferably secured to the pump rod with a suitable adhesive and are of a diameter at least slightly less than the inner diameter of the tubing through which fluid is being pumped.

  • Patent number: 7431572
Abstract: A hydraulic oil well pumping installation includes a down hole pump positioned down a well, the down hole pump including a master cylinder and at least one slave cylinder in axial alignment with the master cylinder. A master piston is positioned in the master cylinder and divides the master cylinder into a first portion and a second portion. A slave piston is positioned in the at least one slave cylinder and divides the slave cylinder into a first portion and a second portion. The slave piston is connected by a rigid linkage to the master piston, such that movement of the master piston results in movement of the slave piston.

  • Patent number: 5655885
Abstract: A double-displacement pump is compact, has a modular fluid subassembly made up a substantially cylindrical pump body and a piston reciprocally driven within the pump body. An outlet fluid cavity is formed between the pump body and a surrounding housing structure, enabling the subassembly to be removed as a unit without the need to disconnect auxiliary systems, such as a pressure control system or a priming system. In a preferred embodiment, the subassembly is retained within the housing structure by an inlet fitting which includes a check valve. A second check valve is then provided in the piston itself, which has a stem threadingly engaged with a reciprocal drive element. A sleeve received over the stem serves to compress a fluid sealing structure against a flange of the piston when the stem is fully engaged with the drive element.
