  • Patent number: 10695881
Abstract: A control system for controlling oil-injection of a machine tool includes a sensor, a signal-processing device and a control device. The sensor senses movement of a machine component of the machine tool and outputs a sense signal to the signal-processing device. The signal-processing device derives analysis signals from the sense signal and sends the analysis signals to the control device. The control device determines whether to output an oiling signal to the machine tool to trigger an oiling device to oil the machine component according to an accumulated moving distance and a variation value that are calculated based on the analysis signals.

Abstract: An acoustic logging tool is disposed in a wellbore during an acidizing operation. Measurements are made using the acoustic logging tool on a region of a formation penetrated by the wellbore and being subjected to the acidizing operation. An acoustic anisotropic property of the formation is inferred at one or more depths of investigation within the region using the measurements, and a wormhole porosity and/or an orientation of one or more wormholes resulting from the acidizing operation is determined. Acidizing operation management decisions may be made based on the determined wormhole porosity and/or orientations of the wormholes. An acidizing operation management decision may be to maintain, increase, or decrease an acid injection rate. Measurements made may include the velocity of an acoustic wave propagating through the formation and the acoustic anisotropic properties of fast waves and slow waves. The acoustic anisotropic properties of the formation generally depend on rock stiffness.

  • Patent number: 9861755
Abstract: The present invention relates to a torsion spring driven injection device for delivering multiple set doses of a liquid drug from a cartridge by moving a plunger forward inside the cartridge. The torsion spring (134) applies a rotational torque onto a drive member (120) engaging a piston rod (115) which is then driven forward by this rotation. The piston rod driver can be coupled and de-coupled from the torsion spring mechanism. In the de-coupled position, the piston rod driver is freely rotatable and can thus rotate if the piston rod is moved axially. A further torsion arrangement (124) is preferably provided such that a torque is build up between the piston rod driver and the housing whenever the piston rod is moved backwards. This torsion arrangement urges the piston rod driver to rotate in a direction bringing the piston rod forward into abutment with the plunger.

Abstract: An air operated diaphragm pump is provided featuring a housing, a fluid passageway and an indicator arrangement. The housing is configured with an orifice. The fluid passageway responses to a vacuum force and provides fluid, such as syrup from a bag or container to a beverage dispenser, through the air operated diaphragm pump via the fluid passageway, and is configured with a suction plenum or channel formed by an enclosed space with an inside pressure that is greater than an external pressure of the outside atmosphere when the fluid is being provided through the air operated diaphragm pump via the fluid passageway. The suction plenum or channel is configured to be in fluidic communication with the orifice of the housing.
