  • Patent number: 6612822
Abstract: An improved hydraulic motor system, suitable for driving an automotive cooling fan or the like. The system is driven by grade gerotor set and an idle gerotor set which are stacked between a center plate and against a rear wall of a cylindrical cavity in a front face of a manifold. A fluid-tight chamber is established by securing an end frame can around the stacked gerotor sets and against the perimeter of the manifold cavity. Tightness of the seal is controlled by positioning a resilient cover plate against the end frame can from a position opposite the manifold, and adjustably clamping the resilient cover against the manifold until the resilient cover has undergone a predetermined amount of elastic deformation.

  • Patent number: 6568928
Abstract: A scroll-type compressor has a fixed scroll member, a movable scroll member, a front housing, a rear housing and a gasket seal. The fixed scroll member and the movable scroll member cooperate to form a compression region. The movable scroll member orbits relative to the fixed scroll member to compress refrigerant in the compression region. A movable scroll base plate of the movable scroll member forms a rear surface and a discharge hole substantially at the center of the movable scroll base plate. Pressure of the refrigerant discharged from the compression region is applied to the rear surface of the movable scroll base plate. The front housing accommodates the movable scroll member. The rear housing which is adjacent to the front housing, has the fixed scroll member inside. The gasket seal is located between the front housing and the rear housing.

Abstract: A double screw rotor assembly includes two screw rotors meshed in a bushing inside a casing. The threads of the screw rotors have a uniform pitch, and define with the bushing a plurality of air chambers in the pitch. The volumes of the air chambers reduce gradually from the inlet toward the output due to the reduce of tooth high so that the outer diameter defined by the tooth tip of the thread of each screw rotor has the shape of an invertedly disposed cone. Adjustable spring means is provided to impart an axial spring force to the bushing relative to the casing, guide means is provided to guide axial movement of the bushing relative to the casing, and a O-ring is disposed between the top wall of the bushing and the casing. Adjusting the pre-loading of the spring means controls the dimension of the clearance between the inside wall of the bushing and the tooth tip of the thread of each screw rotor.
