This lightweight, inexpensive inventive barrel clip helps prevent clogging and dirtying of the firearm barrel. Further it does not cause damage to the environment in which it is used. When pressure on the buttons is released, the buttons return to their normal positions and catch the pawls, returning them to their upright and engaged position.

The notches act as reservoirs of lubrication and upon each cycling movement of the slide (firing of the weapon) one or more of the notches is placed opposite a corresponding portion of the slide or frame. The notches themselves are never exposed to the environment and thus retain the lubricant, unlike topically applied material. As a result, the frame and slide are lubricated during each cycle of the slide.

A method of mounting the off-trigger locator is provided.

Abstract: A new sling mount for firearms is disclosed. The sling mount in particular also serves as a recoil lug for the firearm. At least one loop extends outward from the sling mount for use in attaching a sling. This passage may require a hole to be cut into the casing of the firearm for accommodation. The shape, size, contours and location of the sling mount will be dependent upon the intended weapon platform. In any event, the at least one loop provides attachment for a sling while also avoiding entanglement of the sling with a folding stock.

A plurality of annularly spaced openings or fins are formed on the body and extend between the proximal (close to the shooter) and distal ends thereof. The length of the body is such that at least one of the openings or fins is always present adjacent the thumb rest area of the firearm (e.g., rifle) handle. As such, a shooter need only move their trigger hand thumb to reach and engage an opening or fin to rotate the body which causes simultaneous rotation of the zoom ring.

This apparatus allows for quick assembling and disassembling of accessories and tactical equipment on a weapon accessory rail system. The Accessory Mounting Apparatus consists of a base, latching arm, and over-centered lever to apply clamping force, where the base of the clamping device is keyed to align with a dove-tail shaped rail and fix its location in the direction of the barrel. The latching arm is slid over the dovetail in the accessory rail and the over-centered lever is closed to clamp the device securely around the accessory rail, fixing it in all directions.

Abstract: An ammunition carrier that is attached to a gun in apposition that does not interfere with the operation of the gun. The carrier is attached to the gun using a locking slider system. Once in place, it allows a shooter to carry up to 24 shells simply and easily. The carrier can be made in a straight-line design or a pistol grip type design. The carrier has Velcro patches that allow the shell holders to be attached. The shell holders have elastic bands that hold the shells. One or two shell holders can be attached to the carrier as desired. A user can keep several carriers available, each with a different type of shot or load so that the user simply has to select the desired ammunition for a particular purpose and attach it to the gun. It can also be used to carry ammo clips for rifles.
