    Abstract: The present subject matter is directed towards a system and a method for selectively post-curing a three-dimensional (3D-printed) object to attain variable properties. The system comprises a selective post-curing chamber coupled to a computer in communication with a database for accessing a digital model or data concerning the 3D-printed object. The chamber comprises a movable light source assembly and a mounting platform for supporting at least one 3D-printed object thereon. The computer includes one or more executable instructions for selectively emitting a curing light onto the 3D-printed object along a predetermined curing toolpath based on the digital model. The curing of the 3D-printed object along the predetermined curing toolpath generates variable properties along different regions of the 3D-printed object.

    Abstract: A liquid separator system having a gas phase zone, an aqueous phase zone and a denser liquid zone is used to separate mixtures of fluids. The separator can be used for separating molten sulfur from liquid redox solution or reslurry water. The system includes a vessel with a top part and a bottom part. The vessel has a larger diameter at the top part than at the bottom part. The system also includes an inlet for introducing a redox solution or reslurry water and molten sulfur, which is denser than redox solution or reslurry water, into the vessel. An outlet near the bottom part of the vessel allows a flow of the molten sulfur from the vessel. An interface control structure senses an interface level between the redox solution or reslurry water and the molten sulfur, and the interface control structure controls the flow of molten sulfur from the outlet.

    Abstract: In a manufacturing technology for forming a thin film transistor comprising a laser irradiation step, objects of the present invention are to obtain a high performance and multifunction semiconductor manufacturing apparatus and thin film transistor manufacturing method. A silicon thin film 201 is formed on a glass substrate 202, and laser 203 is irradiated onto this thin film 201 whereby a re-crystallization film is obtained. This re-crystallization film undergoes a hydrogen plasma processing so that dangling-bonds of silicon are terminated. Moreover, a step for forming a silicon dioxide film 205 on the re-crystallization film is included. These steps are performed under the conditions that the glass substrate 202 is not exposed to the air and a processing temperature is 350° C. or less.
