    Abstract: A label adapted for direct thermal printing on both sides thereof and having a sealable pouch is described. In one embodiment, the label comprises two substrates, each substrate being coated on an outer face with a thermally sensitive coating. The inner faces of the substrates are respectively coated with an adhesive and a release material. A configuration of die cuts and perforations on the two substrates is provided to allow the label to adhere to a surface such as a package and to form a sealable pouch with respect to said surface.
