Abstract: A TPU composition comprising two or more TPU polymers is disclosed. The TPU composition gives a broad process window for melt coating applications. The blend of TPUs give better processing than either of the individual TPU polymers used in the blend alone. This results in melt coating which gives less matt and glossy streaks and allows faster coating speeds along with lower coating weight. The two or more TPU polymers used in the blend have a different soft segment. The different soft segment is created by using different molecular weight polyol for the TPU polymers or by using chemically different polyols.

The desiccant device includes a pouch formed of a laminate layer. The laminate layer includes a thin, non-permeable monolithic membrane laminated to a porous media. The thin, non-permeable monolithic membrane is thin enough to allow a desired vapor to pass there-through by molecular diffusion, but does not include any voids, pores or holes that would allow gas, liquid or solid to permeate there-through. Since the permeable membrane only passes vapor by molecular diffusion, it prohibits any dust fibers or other contamination from emitting from the desiccant device and thereby prevents contamination of the electronic device such as the disk drive.

Abstract: A floor covering produced by coating and including a thermoplastic-based structure, in particular plasticized PVC, reinforced with a textile reinforcement, optionally combined with a foam backing. The visible surface consists of a surface coating providing decoration and wear resistance to the product. The back surface, designed to be in contact with the floor, consists of a textile web, the bonding between the textile structure and the supporting back surface being produced by means of an additional plastisol layer, which penetrates over a minor part of the thickness of the textile structure and which, after gelling, bonds the textile to the thermoplastic substrate back surface.

Abstract: The pneumatic structural element according to the invention comprises from one to a number of interconnected elements of the following construction: two hollow bodies (1) made of textile material preferably coated in a gas-type manner and each having two end caps (5) are assembled such that they produce a common sectional area (2). The edging of this sectional area (2) is formed by two curved tension/compression elements (3) into which is clamped a preferably gas-tight web (4) made of a flexible material of high tensile strength. This web (4) can be connected to the tension/compression elements (3) in a gas-tight manner. By filling the two hollow bodies (1) with compressed gas, a tensile stress ? is built up in their casings (9) and is transmitted directly or via the tension/compression elements (3) to the web (4) and pretensions said web. This pretensioning greatly increases the bending rigidity of the tension/compression elements (3).

Abstract: The present invention discloses a tubular fabric with strengthened fabric structure, formed from interlaced warp yarns and weft yarns where at least one of the warp yarns is spandex yarn. The tubular fabric is characterized in that the spandex yarn accounts for 6%-12% of the total fabric weight, the spandex yarn has a floating line on the inner wall surface not shorter than 3 weft yarns, and the weft density is between 14-30% weft/cm. Due the special weaving structure, which results in the long floating line of the spandex yarn, the resulting tubular fabric have a large amount of spandex yarns covering its inner wall surface, thereby enhancing its strength and effectively prevent perforation by the steel wire.
