Patent number: 12254787Abstract: A reflective decorative panel is provided, which comprises a monolithic base that is a module of the panel and cantilever elements made integral with the base. Movable reflective elements are arranged on the cantilever elements by using holes. Connecting elements for connecting the modules of different reflective decorative panels are provided on edge sections of the base. Each connecting element is made stepwise: with a first protrusion and a second protrusion on one side, and with a protruding element extending from the first protrusion on another side such that there is a groove under the protruding element. The connecting elements are configured to rigidly connect the panels due to the entry of the protrusions and grooves of one panel into the reciprocal grooves and protrusions of another panel. The reflective decorative panel simplifies the process of assembling connectable panel modules and increases the reliability of their connections.Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2023Date of Patent: March 18, 2025Inventor: Denis Sagidullin

Patent number: 11872501Abstract: Disclosed is an indicating means that may be worn by a player or attached to a target when playing with non lethal projectiles to indicate when a player or a target has been struck by a projectile. The disclosed indicating means comprises a fabric containing sequins followed by a layer of padding beneath the fabric. Sequins are brushed into a first position at the start of game play. During game play, impact of a projectile onto the indicating means will be absorbed by the padding creating undulations radiating outwards from the point of impact causing the sequins to flip to a second position indicating that the player or target has been struck. The disclosed indicating means will work with any projectile, does not require an electrical charge to operate, is low cost, reusable, and durable.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2020Date of Patent: January 16, 2024Inventor: Claudiu Lorentz

Publication number: 20090117315Abstract: An object is to improve the durability of a mold and reduce the cost of the mold. A disc-molding mold includes a first mold; and a second mold disposed in opposition to the first mold such that the second mold can advance and retreat. One of the first and second molds includes a base material having a roughened surface, and a coating layer formed on the surface of the base material through coating treatment. A stamper attachment surface is defined on a surface of the coating layer. Since a coating layer is formed on the roughened surface of the base material through coating treatment, the area of contact between the base material and the coating layer can be increased. Therefore, the adhesion force between the base material and the coating layer increases, so that the coating layer becomes unlikely to peel off, whereby the durability of the mold can be improved, and the cost of the mold can be reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2006Publication date: May 7, 2009Inventors: Yuji Shibutain, Yuichi Inada

Patent number: 6482495Abstract: The present invention provides an information carrier which has flat surfaces, is excellent in beautiful appearance and permits beautiful necessary printing, and a production process which permits easy and inexpensive production of such an information carrier. An IC chip 1 and a coil 2 connected to the IC chip are embedded in a substrate 3 composed of a nonwoven fabric. The IC chip and the coil are held between two nonwoven fabrics produced according to a conventional production procedure. The laminate of the nonwoven fabrics is fed to a roller or a press and the two nonwoven fabrics are hot-pressed, whereby their mating surfaces are joined with or without an adhesive (including low-melting synthetic resin fiber) incorporated into the webs. After positioning of the coil in the thus obtained raw product of information carrier, the laminate of the nonwoven fabrics and cover sheets is cut to obtain an information carrier of predetermined shape and size.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 1997Date of Patent: November 19, 2002Assignee: Hitachi Maxwell, Ltd.Inventors: Kyouichi Kohama, Ryuzo Fukao, Wasao Takasugi, Kazuhiko Daido, Toshinobu Sueyoshi

Patent number: 6479118Abstract: According to the present invention, six die-cut CD-ROM labels are provided on a sheet in a vertical pattern with labels offset from a scored or perforated centerline of the other three. Each set of three is spaced from the outer edges of the sheet and by folding the sheet in half and removing a corner tab an adhesive edge of one of the labels is exposed which can be applied to a disk manually held on a printed outline of the disk on the back of the sheet, obviating the need for use of any applicator centering device, or holder for the disk, and/or label.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2000Date of Patent: November 12, 2002Assignee: Fellowes Inc.Inventor: Peter Atkinson

Patent number: 6406769Abstract: The invention concerns a watch crystal (1) made of hard mineral material, in particular a crystalline material such as corundum, sapphire or spinel, including a non-circular optical lens (4) shaped in the thickness of the material of the crystal. The lens is formed by machining and polishing a recess (5) preferably situated in the lower face (3) of the crystal. Its contour can have reentering angles, and can be for example rectangular. The machining is effected by means of a brush which hits the bottom of the recess with the addition of a polishing medium.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 1999Date of Patent: June 18, 2002Assignee: Comadur S.A.Inventor: Guy Delabre

Patent number: 6395363Abstract: A substrate support comprising a shelf having a surface sloped at an angle such that the support contacts the substrate substantially at an edge portion of the substrate. The angle of the shelf is greater than an angle of the edge portion of the substrate. The surface of the shelf may be machined or polished to improve its smoothness. The substrate support thereby reduces the effect and severity of scratches on the substrate caused by the support. As a result, the substrate support improves substrate yield.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 1996Date of Patent: May 28, 2002Assignee: Applied Materials, Inc.Inventors: David S.
