  • Patent number: 8613993
Abstract: The Present Invention discloses a slit web material, substantially longer than it is wide, with specially shaped slits that permit relatively easy expansion upon deployment. The specially shaped slits are referred to in the Present Application as “tilde-slits,” because they resemble a tilde mark. The cuts are arranged in continuous rows of tilde-slits. In any given row, the tilde-slits follow one-after-the-other in a linear direction. Adjacent rows of slits are parallel to each other, but are offset from one another such that a line drawn between adjacent tilde-slits in adjacent rows is not perpendicular to the direction of the rows. The invention contemplates that the material dispenses from a continuous roll. If the slits are arranged in the longitudinal direction, then the web material expands in the width direction only upon deployment.

  • Patent number: 8512851
Abstract: A wrapping material for use with existing wrapping equipment or balers for wrapping bales of agricultural produce or other items are disclosed. The base wrapping material may be a netting, film, or combination thereof. The wrapping material includes a plurality of pre-defined, discrete, spaced-apart adhesive areas disposed on each side of the opposing sides of the wrapping material. The longitudinal spacing of the adhesive areas allows the wrapping material to be rolled onto a roll core so that the discrete spaced-apart adhesive areas contact only non-adhesive areas of the wrapping material thereby forming a first level of adhesion that easily allows the wrapping material to be released and unrolled. When wrapping an item, corresponding discrete adhesive areas come into face-to-face contact thereby forming a second level of adhesion that is stronger than the first level of adhesion.

Abstract: The present invention provides an explosion-proof material which includes a high-porosity sheet (11); With one side(12) of the material as center, the high-porosity sheet (11) is wound into multilayer material body(1) along the direction perpendicular to the side(12); The skeleton(13) is inserted between the multilayer high-porosity sheet (11) of the material body(1); The present invention also provides a processing method for explosion-proof material, including: inserting the skeleton (13) between the high-porosity sheet (11), cutting off the high-porosity sheet (11), and the high-porosity sheet in which the skeleton(13) is inserted is wound into multilayer explosion-proof material. The present invention adopts skeleton to support the body of high-porosity sheet, and thus can effectively prevent the material body from collapse and deformation.
