Abstract: A battery pack, comprising a battery pack panel (8) and slide fasteners (1), the slide fasteners (1) each comprising an engagement tongue (2). Cavities are respectively provided on two sides of the battery back panel (8), the slide fasteners (1) are able to slide inside the cavities, and elastic elements (12) are provided between the slide fasteners (1) and the battery pack panel (8). When the elastic elements (12) exert an elastic force on the slide fasteners (1) and cause same to abut one side of the cavities, the engagement tongues (2) extend out to an outer side of the battery pack panel (8). When an external force overcomes the elastic force provided by the elastic elements (12), the slide fasteners (1) are caused to abut the other side of the cavities, and the engagement tongues (2) are completely withdrawn into the battery pack panel (8). By means of the arrangement of the structure of the slide fasteners, the battery pack is caused to be reliably fixed in and easily removed from a robot body.

Abstract: An electric tool (20) allowing an external battery pack (26) to detachably connect thereto is disclosed. The electric tool (20) includes a housing and a motor (22) installed in the housing, and in addition the electric tool (20) includes a supporting part fixedly coupled to the housing; and a terminal holder (38). The terminal holder (38) is adapted to contact with terminals on an external battery pack (26) in order to form a consistent electrical connection. The terminal holder (38) is confined by the supporting member (56,58) and in the meantime adapted to move relative to the supporting part. The terminal holder (38) has a hollow shape and is adapted to contact with the support member (56,58) at an exterior surface of the terminal holder (38). As the terminal holder (38) is tightly fitted with the battery pack (26) but at the same time loosely fitted with the tool housing, chances of generating sparks or electric arc between the metal terminals can be minimized.

Abstract: An interconnect is disclosed that opens a battery circuit when an access cover is removed. The interconnect includes a single installed position, and does not include any throw positions to avoid ambiguity. The interconnect includes a conductive element that closes the battery circuit when the interconnect is installed. The access cover cannot be removed when the interconnect is installed, because the interconnect includes at least one mechanical feature that prevents removal of the access cover. In some instances, the interconnect is integrated into the access cover, such that when the cover is removed, the circuit is opened necessarily during removal. The interconnect interface may include blades, pins, or other electrically conducting elements. The interconnect is arranged in the battery system away from power electronics and other components that may interface to an electrical load, thus providing an added measure of safety when the access cover is off.
