The aerator pumps oxygen through the air valve and through the rigid air tube to an air stone that is attached to the bottom of the net thereby oxygenating the body of water within the container keeping the bait alive. The aerator provides an electrical source and switch for a light that is mounted to the bottom side of the aerator. A hole provided in the lid of the dip net assembly allows the light to illuminate live bait within the container.

The lamp module is comprised of a lamp, an electric power source, and a switch, all elements in a series electrical circuit. The lamp module is further comprised of conductive ball and a plurality of annular chambers that house the conductive ball in a stable condition apart from the electric switch while the hollow body is in a horizontal orientation; but when the hollow body is moved toward a vertical orientation by force of a fish strike, the annular chambers direct the conductive ball into bridging contact with the electrical switch, which closes the electrical circuit and activates the lamp. The fishing float remains illuminated in the event a fish caught on the fishing line relaxes tension on the fishing line.

The coil shape further comprises a plurality of coil loops in which spacing between adjacent loops is alterable by transient application of a force. An alteration to a surface of the inelastic material is applied to the inelastic material for gripping at least during placement of the coils shape on the fishing line and application of the force.

Abstract: The invention relates to a line of floats which allow for greater visibility during both day and night fishing. The greater visibility is created by a combination of one of more marker devices, including light sticks, flags, viz sticks, reflective surface, and/or use of chemiluminescent and phosphorescent materials. These objects and materials are used on a variety of floats, especially large floats such as jug floats and a new type of float termed a noodle float. These large floats are especially useful for catching large catfish and can be used in any body of water where fish are found, such as lakes, rivers, ponds, and the sea.

In another embodiment rigging ring is welded or fused together during manufacture. A plurality of notches is disposed through the flanges of each of the float sides. The fishing line attaches around the float and is extended therefrom, whereby the notches allow the line to be tied off such that when the line is struck by a fish the float flips over for notification purposes. The center of the float includes an aperture therethrough for assisting the user when tying off the fishing line, while also providing a support for an external hand crank reel or a lighted pole.

Abstract: An ice fishing signaling device having a tip-up flag and/or electric light bite indicator, and a hooked fish indicator that is controlled by tension in the fish line is provided to alert a fisherman of the occurrence of hooked fish and the relative size and/or strength of the hooked fish. The hooked fish indicator has a tubular housing with a telescoping indicator rod that is spring-biased within the housing to resist movement. A sustained tension on the fish line equal to or exceeding the bite indicator trigger level is required to withdraw the indicator rod from the housing for signaling the presence of a hooked fish. The indicator rod increases resistance as it is withdrawn for the housing, thus providing a visual indication of the size and/or strength of the hooked fish.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an ornamental pond fish feeding indicator that has a housing with an indicator end. A first LED is enclosed in the housing at the indicator end of the housing. A second LED is also enclosed in the housing at the indicator end of the housing. A temperature sensing circuit is enclosed in the housing. The temperature sensing circuit transmits a signal to the first LED and the second LED. A float is attached to the housing. Using this invention, a pond owner can simply glance at his or her pond and determine whether or not to feed their fish based on the color of the light on top. The light on top of the indicator is red when pond water is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. If the pond water is 50 degrees or over, the light is green.
