Adjustable Along Line Patents (Class 43/44.85)
  • Patent number: 10993711
Abstract: A suture button for a surgical procedure provides an anchor for pulling and maintaining suture tension through a transosseous tunnel during an operation such as meniscal root repair in the knee. The suture button includes a body having a first tapered longitudinal end, a second tapered longitudinal end, a first side, a second side, an anterior surface and a posterior surface. A first concave notch is defined in the first side, and a second concave notch is defined in the second side. The first notch is open to a first suture dock in the first side, and the second notch is open to a second suture dock in the second side. Each of the first and second suture docks includes a seat to centrally position suture material in some embodiments. A center passage is defined through the suture body at a location between the first and second suture docks.

  • Patent number: 10701919
Abstract: The inventors disclose and teach herein a device that quickly and reliably attaches rigging to a fishing line, especially trolling lines. The device includes a spring-loaded clip with means for attaching additional accessories to the clip, such as weights. Accordingly, in the context of trolling, a trolling depth can be set and readjusted rapidly simply by clipping different weights onto the line. Moreover, the clip includes a side-opening for receiving a fishing line in compression between a spring-loaded plunger and anvil. The line is further secured by an embossed retainer blocking the line from slipping out from between the plunger and anvil.

  • Patent number: 9451760
Abstract: A fishing hook has a head having at least two vertically arranged holes through which a fishing line is inserted. When the fishing line is threaded through both of the vertically disposed holes, the hook is stabilized in a substantially orthogonal posture relative to the fishing line, thus enhancing the likelihood of catching fish, especially with a drop-shot technique. Because the single head is small and compact, it is not exposed when the lure is affixed to the hook, thereby improving the likelihood that fish will be tempted by the lure.

  • Patent number: 8468738
Abstract: A fishers device that enables a hook and hook shaft to maintain a given compound angle with respect to a fishing line. A double eye hook has an upper eye and a lower eye connected by a lever arm. A fishing line can be attached to the upper eye and a tag line passes from the upper eye through the lower eye and the tag line is attached to a weighted member below the hook. The hook angle can be adjusted and once adjusted the fisher's device will maintain the desired angle. The arrangement improves the ability to hook a fish because the fisherman knows the hook is oriented with the hooking end up at all times, improving the ability to hook the fish in the roof of the mouth.

Abstract: Provided is a long line fishing that prevents a round frame sleeve from separating from the external circumference of a main line no matter how large force may be radially applied from the outside, reduces friction, and makes it possible to quickly and easily connecting a string to a simple connection hook of a swivel. The present invention may be implemented by fitting a plurality of round frame sleeve on a long main line at predetermined positions, disposing clover stoppers at both sides of the round frame sleeves at predetermined positions to prevent the round frame sleeves from longitudinally moving, and protruding hook from the external circumference by striking the external circumference of the round frame sleeve with a punch P through a hole.

  • Patent number: 7866085
Abstract: A bottom bouncer preferably includes a flexible line, a float and at least one weight. A loop is formed on one end of the flexible line for attachment of a swivel loop or the like. The float includes a lengthwise through hole for receiving the flexible line. The float is preferably retained on the one end of the flexible line. The weight preferably includes a lengthwise through hole for receiving the flexible line. A set screw or the like may be threaded into the weight against the flexible line to secure the weight thereto, such that the loop or swivel loop will be a set distance off the bottom of a body of water. A set screw in a clamp collar may also be tightened on the flexible line to retain the at least one weight on the flexible line. However, other types of fastenable weights may be used.

  • Patent number: 7730661
Abstract: A leader and fish hook combination has eyes or loops formed at both ends of the leader so that the leader can be attached to the fishing line with either the one eye or the other. The fish hook, or more than one fish hook, has the leader threaded through the eye end of the fish hook. The leader passes through the eye of each hook, but is not tied to it, leaving the hook free to slide along the leader. Fastened one way, the hook is presented outward, and if fastened or tied off the other way, the hook presented inward. In that orientation, the lower eye projects over the hook portion so the rig serves as a weedless hook.

  • Patent number: 7272907
Abstract: A method of attaching a leader to a snelled fly by connecting a loop bearing a bead at the end of a leader to a snell loop at the end of a leader is disclosed. Generally the snell loop is first slipped over the beaded bead loop. Then, a length of the snell monofilament line is pulled through the bead loop. The snell loop and bead loop are simultaneously pulled in opposing directions forming a bead loop knot with said bead resting on one side of the knot. The process of detaching said knot is a simple reversal of the attachment process. The present method avoids the need of cutting a snell loop to replace a fishing fly and makes it possible to easily untie a loop-to-loop knot and avoid damaging a snell.
