    Abstract: Silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having a plurality of silver halide emulsion layers which are sensitive to the same spectral region and having different speeds and at least one light-sensitive layer comprising a nondiffusible coupler, which upon reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent is capable of forming a nondiffusible dye, wherein the silver halide emulsion layer having the greatest speed of said plurality of silver halide emulsion layers sensitive to a particular spectral region contains a nondiffusible coupler which, upon reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent, is capable of producing a moveable dye, and a silver halide emulsion having a speed slower than said fastest speed layer contains a nondiffusible compound which, upon reaction with an oxidized product of a color developing agent, is capable of releasing a development inhibitor material.
