    Abstract: A portable, handheld lighter assembly for lighting a lighting end of a rolled tobacco product, such as a cigarette or a cigar, includes an elongated body formed with opposed first and second channels formed on either side of a combustion zone and a stop formed in the elongated body. The combustion zone traverses the stop so as to couple the first channel in gaseous communication with the second channel. The stop restricts movement of a rolled tobacco product into the second channel from the first channel and restricts movement of a rolled tobacco product into the first channel from the second channel. A lighter is coupled to the elongated body and is for applying lighting heat to the combustion zone at the stop for lighting a lighting end of a rolled tobacco product applied against the stop in the combustion zone from the first channel or the second channel.

A magnet is attached to the cylindrical portion and is adapted to secure the cylindrical portion, where desired, along a longitudinal length of the rod. Accordingly, the incense is supported in two locations and is disposed under and generally parallel to the rod. The incense is able to burn until the area of combustion reaches the cylindrical portion, at which time it is extinguished. Two alternate embodiments are described that allow use of modified forms of the cylindrical portion with prior art types of incense burners.

The middle part of the rock arm is contacted with the piezoelectric push rod (104), and the lower end of the rock arm is connected pivotally to the inner surface of the casing (101). According to the principle of lever, the present invention is laborsaving as well as safety.

The first displacement unlocks the ignition device and the second displacement initiates simultaneously an electrical discharge and a fuel discharge, which results in a flame. Whenever a user discontinues the application of force to the activating component, the ignition mechanism returns to an inoperable, locked position. The effectiveness of this activating device in resisting the manipulations of children under the age of 5 years has been established by tests performed pursuant to the requirements of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Use of both hands to depress the release button and pry back the striking lever from above, near the gas release mechanism, is further prevented by providing a raised safety ridge to prevent a user from gripping the edge of the striking lever near the outlet of the gas release mechanism.
