Abstract: A stove has a fuel tank with a flat top and bottom and a side wall to define a fuel chamber. A fuel feed path includes a vertical pipe assembly. The fuel feed path also includes a horizontal pipe assembly functioning as a vaporizer. The fuel feed path also includes a generally C-shaped pipe assembly. An associated warming coil is in a generally circular configuration to direct a flow of some of the fuel from one part of the horizontal pipe assembly to another part of the horizontal pipe assembly. A generally cylindrical ignition chamber is at the terminal end of the C-shaped pipe assembly. Apertures are provided for cooking purposes and are adapted to preheat the fuel in the horizontal pipe assembly and the warming coil.

Abstract: The present invention provides a process of cooking foods using a hydro-fuel to produce super heated in-situ steam. The hydro-fuel is propelled at a regulated flow rate into a pre-heating tube situated near a burner that is used in cooking, but also heats the tube. The pre-heating hydro-fuel is mixed with air in a mixing chamber to form a fuel-air mixture that is then transported to a burner tip on the burner. The fuel-air mixture is ignited at said burner tip to cause combustion producing the release of hot gases and in-situ steam that rise to cook food supported above said burner.

Abstract: The invention provides a combustion device such as a stove which may include a pressurized fuel mixture, such as an aerosol container containing alcohol and a propellant which may comprise a normally gaseous hydrocarbon, such as a liquified petroleum gas. The propellant and air are fed to a combustion zone as a combustion mixture, which is combusted therein in a cold start period to pre-heat the liquid fuel and vaporize it. When the liquid fuel is vaporized by the heat provided by combusting the propellant gas, combustion is continued by combusting the vaporized liquid, e.g., alcohol, fuel. The pressurized fuel composition may comprise a major proportion of alcohol together with a minor proportion of the hydrocarbon propellant starter fuel. The method therefore includes carrying out an initial, cold-start phase of combustion utilizing the propellant as fuel, and a subsequent stage of combustion utilizing the vaporized liquid fuel.

Abstract: A fuel gasifying burner including a combustion device located below a portion of a gas generating member housing a fuel supply device for directing a supply of liquid fuel into the interior of the gas generating member. A plurality of combustion members formed with flame apertures at their surfaces are arranged on either side of the gas generating member substantially in the same horizontal plane or in a plane below that of the gas generating member and maintained in communication with the gas generating member. The combustion members may be one in number and annular in form and located below the gas generating member or of a torus shape to allow the gas generating member to extend through its center opening.
Abstract: This invention relates to a liquid fuel combustion apparatus such as oil space heater in which liquid fuel is vaporized by a vaporizer and the vaporized liquid fuel is injected through a first nozzle to a burner. The vaporizer is heated by combustion of fuel gas which is injected through a second nozzle to the burner before the vaporizer has been heated up to a temperature at which the liquid fuel passing the vaporizer is evaporated. The injection of the fuel gas from the second nozzle to the burner is changed to the injection of the vaporized liquid fuel from the first nozzle when the vaporizer has been heated up to a desired temperature. The supply of the liquid fuel to the vaporizer is carried out by a fuel pump which is driven by electric power generated by a thermopile.
