Abstract: The invention relates to an anterior tooth such as an incisor tooth or canine tooth built up in layers, with a cutting-edge material (30) at least partially covering a dentine material (28). At its occlusal end (38), the dentine material has projections (42) and/or irregularities (42, 46 and 48), which extend in the occlusal direction and correspond to 0.05 to 0.4 times the total length of a tooth.
Abstract: A dental anchor implant device anchors false teeth securely within a user's mouth. The device includes a base having a convex upper surface and a concave lower surface wherein the base is configured for positioning on and coupling to a top of a jawbone. An anchor is coupled to and extends upwardly from the upper surface of the base. A post extends upwardly from a top surface of the anchor. A tooth has a socket extending into a bottom surface of the tooth. The post is positionable in the socket wherein the post inhibits lateral movement of the bottom surface of the tooth relative to the top surface of the anchor. The bottom surface of the tooth is substantially complementary to the top surface of the anchor.
Abstract: A dental post includes a composite material such as long fibers embedded in a resin matrix, and is able to transmit visible radiation when it is lit by a dental lamp to ensure polymerization of a product for setting in a tooth's root canal. The post, which has a specific color determined at ambient temperature before insertion into said canal, and which contains at least one thermochromic substance able to provide said specific color, loses its color when in place in the canal. A method for forming the dental post and a kit including a plurality of dental posts and drills are also disclosed.

Abstract: A self-cutting implant anchorable in a jawbone is provided. In a preferred embodiment, cutting teeth of the implant include a non-cutting edge opposite to a cutting leading edge. Also provided is a crown structure formed from a collar including aligned bores. In addition, a process for making the crown structure is provided.
Abstract: Phosphate bonded investments with solid high temperature dowels or pins for the preparation or making of all porcelain dental prosthetic restorations. More specifically, the solid, high temperature pin type dowels, when used in dies and models formed of phosphate bonded investment material for making porcelain restorations, when fired to a range between 1600.degree.-2200.degree. F. functions as a heat sink to effect a more uniform heating and cooling of refractory model and porcelain restoration thereon so that the form and shape of the vitrified porcelain restoration may be more accurately maintained.
Abstract: This invention is directed to the use of a false tooth having an attaching means rearwardly directed on the rear of the false tooth. The attaching means makes it possible to more definitely and more easily position the false tooth while working an individual tooth and while forming the dental bridge.After the dental bridge has been formed the attaching means can be removed so as to have the finished dental bridge.The result is that a desirable dental bridge can be prepared from factory made false teeth and also can be prepared in less time and with less expense than the conventional method prior to this invention.
