Abstract: A current signal sensing method for a supplying-end module of an induction type power supply system, wherein the supplying-end module includes a supplying-end coil and a resonant capacitor, includes serially connecting a current sensing element between the supplying-end coil and the resonant capacitor to obtain a current signal corresponding to a current of the supplying-end coil; and interpreting the current signal to retrieve data of a receiving-end module of the induction type power supply system.
Abstract: Dental unit, which comprises at least one connection for at least one ancillary device, a drive-power and feed system for providing drive power or feed to said at least one ancillary device, and a control system for controlling the drive-power and feed system as well as the at least one ancillary device. For its part, the control system comprises at least one programmed function, which includes at least one predefined control operation directed to at least one ancillary device. In addition, at least one trigger is defined for each programmed function within the control system, in response to which said programmed function is performed. According to the invention, the dental unit comprises configuration means, which are arranged to receive control commands from the user in order to configure at least one programmed function and to configure said at least one programmed function according to control commands received from the user.
Abstract: A system for straightening teeth includes a casting of teeth that is made of a rigid material, and a gum casting made of a flexible material that is joined to the teeth casting. A respective articulating tool for each tooth is provided with a post that is embedded into the tooth. Tooth moving components, accessible through the gum casting, are mounted on each post to selectively provide for left-right, fore-aft, and rotational tooth movements. In its operation, the system involves selectively orienting individual teeth in the teeth casting, to prepare a series of sequentially useable appliances that will straighten teeth in accordance with a pre-planned procedure.
Abstract: A machine for machining a volume, in particular an inlay, by automatic duplicating, includes an abrasive disc having a rotatable drive, a support for a blank of the volume, the disc and the blank being rotatable, a rotatable duplicator support a touch-sensing probe capable of being urged into contact with the duplicator outer surface, there being relative displacement between the blank support and the disc and between the duplicator support and the touch-sensing probe so as to enable the disc and the touch-sensing probe to remain permanently in contact with the blank and the duplicator, and a mobile carriage having at least two degrees of freedom on which are mounted the support for the blank and for the duplicator, the carriage commanding and controlling the drive of the rotatable disc and the duplicator support.
Abstract: A method and a device for mixing dental impression materials comprising a motor-driven rotatable turntable with two mixing plates which are successively and detachably secured thereon. The components of thick and thin viscosity, elastomeric dental impression materials are homogeneously mixed together, respectively, on each of the plates as those plates are independently rotated on the turntable.
