Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for generating a personalized horoscope compatibility metric. The method comprises the steps of receiving user information including an astrological sign corresponding to a user, and generating a perceptible horoscope compatibility metric based on the user information. The invention permits one to perceive a horoscope compatibility metric through a combination of one or more auditory or visual stimuli. Thus, the invention enhances the perception and understanding of horoscope compatibility.

Abstract: A method of charting astrological events comprises the steps of obtaining a user's date of interest which is often a birthdate and using the date to chart the position of celestial objects at the date of interest on an astrological chart divided into 12 equal segments. The user selects a celestial object of interest such as Mercury etc. and rotates the alignment until the object is on the zero point. The user then looks at specific angles called crucial points or secondary crucial points which coincide with 45 degree increments from the zero point. Crucial events are determined by the presence of celestial objects such as the Sun or Moon appearing in those crucial points. The method is repeated for another celestial object of interest by rotating until the other celestial object is at the zero point. In one embodiment, a computer is used to calculate and rotate the chart.

A symbol for each desired celestial object, such as for each planet, the sun, and the moon are included along with a method for detachably attaching each of the symbols to the zodiac chart. According to a first embodiment, the base of the zodiac chart is formed of a flexible magnetic sheet material and each of the symbols are either ferrous or are themselves formed of a similar magnetic material. The symbols are each attached to the zodiac chart by the force of magnetic attraction that is developed intermediate each of the symbols and the zodiac chart.

First and second sets of data to be evaluated as to astrological significance are placed on the first and second wheels respectively. The wheels are of small and relatively large diameters so that when secured to one another at a common center in a manner such that the like reference data are aligned and the first and second sets of data are exposed to view, an empty band is observed on the second wheel just beyond the periphery of the first. A transparent dial bearing degree of arc markings and major and minor planetary aspect symbols in a band corresponding to the exposed band is provided for rotation about the common center. The dial organizes the sets of data for providing a basis for astrological predictions.

Additionally, the first and second plate means are provided with plate indicia means thereon of an astrology nature which can be viewed separately or in conjunction with the central plate indicia means. The window means on the first and second plate means permit comparison of certain astrology information on the central base means and the respective first and second plate means.

Abstract: A device and method for extracting information as to when the generalized geographical potentials defined at the individual's birth are likely to manifest themselves in time. The device and method provides and utilizes a transparent overlay that is superimposed on a map having loci of constant planetary angularities. The overlay has updated loci of planetary angularities on the same scale as the map. The reference longitude on the overlay is determined such that the local sidereal time at a given location is the same as the local sidereal time at that location at the time of the individual's birth. To maximize the useful information present on a given overlay, the faster moving planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) are progressed while the slower moving planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) are transitted.

Abstract: An astronomical chart and projection system for mapping celestial movement plots the longitudinal positions of planets, as measured along the ecliptic, against time in a rectilinear coordinate system with each of the planets being represented by a line on the chart, such a line being designated the "major line" of the planet. The major line corresponding to at least one of the planets is repeated at fixed longitudinal displacements from itself to generate harmonic reproductions, typically at 45 degree intervals. These harmonic reproductions allow a user to immediately extract aspect information between the planet whose major line is harmonically reproduced and other planets, whether or not harmonically reproduced. The longitude and time axes preferably have a common origin at respective longitude and time coordinates corresponding to the vernal equinox, thus permitting sidereal and tropical time information to be extracted from the chart by simple linear scaling of coordinates.
