Abstract: A writing instrument comprises an elongated barrel having a first end, a second end and a plurality of sides including at least three sides, each side having data printed along its length at uniform spacing increments from the first end, the data on any two sides that share the same distance from the first end are computationally related to the data on another side that shares the same distance from the first end. The data includes at least one of a numerical data or a phonic alphabet. The numerical data on a first side and a third side is linked to a sign that associated with an arrow respectively to indicate the direction to which the writing instrument should be rotated to signify the computation relation. Thus, the elongated barrel defines a triangular shaped writing instrument that allows a user to learn the computation relation between the data.

Abstract: An instruction is presented to a user for making a target gesture. The target gesture may be a portion of an exemplary or model symbol. The instruction may be presented in various ways, such as being printed on a writing surface or being played in audio format through a speaker of a smart pen device. A writing gesture made on a writing surface by the user is digitally captured using a smart pen device. The captured writing gesture is compared to the target gesture and feedback is determined based on this comparison. This feedback may indicate the correctness of the user's writing gesture. The feedback may be presented to the user through various means, including through the smart pen device. The comparison may also be used to determine a next instruction for the user to follow.

The marking instrument also includes a marking platform having at least one marking element disposed thereon and a cap element having an opening that corresponds to a geometric shape of a mark to be produced or the geometric shape of an answer space.

Abstract: A ring assembly for a pen has a bottom ring, a top ring, and a slender bridge connecting the bottom ring and the top ring. In assembly, a barrel of the pen extends through the bottom ring and the top ring, so that a sticker adhered around the barrel is securely attached to the barrel by clamping of the top ring and the bottom ring. Furthermore, a gap formed by two conjunct sides of the sticker is concealed by the bridge. By such arrangement, the ring assembly is able to be decorative and to avoid peeling of the sticker from the barrel after long-term use.

Abstract: A magnetic drawing board for color drawing used for children, it is comprised mainly of an encircled seat in the shape of a plate, plural set of iron powder of various colors and coarseness, a scraping plate and a magnetic pen. Wherein the nib of the magnetic pen can be changed with any of various shapes of nibs, the nib has therein a magnetic seat capable of changing orientations, attraction and repellent of magnetic poles thereon. The encircled seat is provided therein with a magnetic pad, magnetic force of the magnetic pad is smaller than that of the nib. The scraping plate is provided in the encircled seat which is provided at one edge thereof with a plurality of powder grooves, and a movable stop plate is pivotably provided above the powder grooves. And iron powder with various colors and coarseness is received in the powder grooves respectively.
