Abstract: A portable, reusable writing surface, comprising, a housing having a slot, a shaft rotatably mounted to the housing; a rolling assembly in communication with the housing with a spring-loaded pawl gear carried by the shaft; a mounting eyelet on the housing; a mounting system for removably mounting the housing to a working surface; and a sheet of rewritable material attached at one end to the shaft and at the other end to a handle.
Abstract: A foldable writing board made up of at least four panels attached by hinges or other attachment means so that the board can be folded out flat to become a full size writing board, folded in two to become either a taller or shorter noteboard (folded in a tent-like configuration) or folded in four to either store flat or to be set up as a small computer notepad. The panels are held together by three or more foldable attachment means that hold the panels together, but allow them to also fold along adjacent edges.
Abstract: A magnetically active laminate is disclosed. The magnetically active laminate is composed of a resin impregnated layer bonded to a distinct, magnetically active sheet. The laminate is especially well suited for use in the construction of erasable markerboards and cubicle panels, although many applications are possible within the scope of the present invention.
Abstract: An electronic blackboard apparatus, which reads a writing on a writing sheet fitted on a blackboard framework and which electronically copies the writing onto a recording medium. The apparatus includes a blackboard framework foldable together with the writing sheet, and a stand supporting the blackboard framework and a copying device. The stand is reducible in size while supporting the blackboard framework and the writing sheet in their folded position and the copying device. The length of the stand is reducible after the blackboard framework and the writing sheet have been folded to reduce their lengths. The blackboard framework and the writing sheet which have been folded are overturned into a space between opposite legs of the stand and the legs are then closed.

Abstract: A wall board includes a board support mechanism which is adapted to be secured to a vertical wall surface and a board member which is vertically movably supported on the board support mechanism. The board support mechanism includes an arrangement which counterbalances the weight of the board member. Laterally spaced, vertically extending side walls extend rearwardly from the board member on opposite sides of the board support mechanism to locations adjacent the vertical wall surface. The inner sides of the side walls have vertically extending guide rails which receive guide slides or guide rollers provided on the board support mechanism.
Abstract: A convertible drawing article of furniture includes a support structure and a drawing board which can be mounted on the support structure in a prostrate position or in an upright position, so that the assembly can be used as a drawing desk or as an easel. The drawing board includes a mounting frame and a slate board which is supported on a circumferential recessed ledge of the frame and held thereon at its front corners by holding members. A compartmentalized tray is attached by compatible male and female connecting formations to the lateral section of the mounting frame in the prostrate position and to the front region of a support frame forming a part of the support structure in the upright position of the drawing board. The support structure further includes two front and two rear legs, of which the rear legs are telescopically extendable so that the drawing board can rest thereon in its upright position while its then lower section is engaged with rear projections of the tray.
