  • Patent number: 9011161
Abstract: A retention latch mechanism having corresponding retention features and stress reducing members is provided herein. In an example embodiment, the retention latch mechanism comprises a pair of spring arm retention features of a receptacle engageable with a corresponding pair of recessed retention features of an insertable tab and one or more backup spring members for reducing stress within the spring arms during insertion of the tab into the receptacle. The backup spring is positioned adjacent an outward facing surface such that outward lateral deflection of the spring arms deflects the backup spring thereby reducing force within the spring arm. In some embodiments, the backup spring includes any or all of a bent portion of an associated bracket or arm member, a wire, a loop, a complementary spring arm, dual backup springs, elastomeric members and self-lubricating members. Methods of providing retention of a tab within a receptacle are also provided herein.

Abstract: A light source device having a large cooling action on the base member of a discharge lamp. A connector on the sides of the power supply and the air blower and the base-side connector of a discharge lamp are connected to each other through a connection cable having a power cable in which an air blow pipe is contained. An electric power is supplied from the power supply to a base part through the power cable of the connection cable, the base-side connector and a flow passage bending member. The cool air from the air blower is supplied to the groove part of the base part through the air blow pipe of the connection cable, the base-side connector and an air blow passage in the flow passage-bending member.

Abstract: The invention relates to a stack of wipes for use in a wipes dispenser. The stack includes a plurality of wipes, each wipe of the plurality of wipes formed from a portion of a common material. Each wipe includes a leading edge portion with a pleat-like zone located along at least a portion of a length of the leading edge portion and the pleat-like zone is distinct from an adjoining main portion of each wipe. Each wipe is folded upon itself at least once and each wipe is positioned relative to adjacent wipes to form the stack of wipes.

  • Patent number: 6290506
Abstract: An enhanced modular jack assembly includes a contact array subassembly having a circuit board, a plurality of long and short contacts, an intermediate contact and a seat structure. The long and short contacts are attached to and extend forwardly from the circuit board and are arranged in pairs of the long and short contacts situated in spaced-apart substantially parallel front and back rows in which the long contacts of the back row are aligned with one another and the short contacts of the front row are aligned with one another but are offset relative to the long contacts of the back row. The intermediate contact is attached to and extends forwardly from the circuit board and has a length substantially the same as the length of the short contacts and a non-parallel orientation relative to the long and short contacts of the back and front rows.

  • Patent number: 6109926
Abstract: A current connection suitable for transferring high-frequency, high-amp current consists of a stationary feed line part (2) and a rotational part (4), each of which is connected to paired conductor rails (6, 8; 6', 8'). The conductor rails (6, 8; 16, 18), connected at one end to a power generator and at the other end to the stationary feed line part (2), consist essentially of at least two parallel conductor rails, which are kept a certain distance apart by means of an insulator (5a). As a result of flexible power conductors (10, 10'), electrically conductive manner to the circular periphery of the outer conductor ring (14), the other end to inner conductor ring (15), the rotational part (4) can be rotated with respect to the stationary feed line part (2) in correspondence with the length of the current conductors (10, 10', . . . ; 11, 11', . . . ).
