    Abstract: A locking mechanism is used to prevent a connector coupled to an device from accidently disengaging from the device. A cable extends from the connector. The locking mechanism includes a supporting bracket fixed to the device, and a locking member mounted to the supporting bracket and slidable between a locking position and an unlocking position. The supporting bracket defines a retaining hole. The locking member includes a protrusion and a block. When the locking member slides to the locking position, the block abuts against the connector. The protrusion is engaged in the retaining hole to keep the locking member at the locking position. When the locking member slides to the unlocking position, the block is spaced from the connector to provide an operation space for removing the connector from the device.

The closure face has a periphery dimensioned to close the open outer face of the shallow cavity in the base leaving only a narrow gap between the closure plate periphery and the base periphery wall to allow ambient air to enter the shallow cavity of the base and interact with the module.

Two actuated retaining pieces are formed on the push-push switch, and a trigger is set between the retaining pieces. When the sliding bracket is slid relative to the carriage, the resilient member is deformed and the trigger is triggered by the triggering portion, the retaining pieces are actuated to hold the triggering portion, the sliding bracket is locked in the carriage. When the trigger is triggered again, the retaining pieces are actuated to release the triggering portion, the sliding bracket is ejected out of the carriage by a restoring force of the resilient member.

To unplug, the knob is twisted in a reversed direction and the two sticks are closed together again so that they are free to be pulled out of the network socket along with the connector.

The fixture housing is snap latchable into a terminal housing, where conductor receiving slots of electrical terminals are inserted into the terminal clearance slots, and electrically terminate the conductors to the electrical terminals.
