Multiple conductors are respectively received in the mating portion. Multiple cables are electrically connected to the conductors. An assisting member is fixed to the base and extending forward relative to the base. A first position limiting slot is formed between the assisting member and the mating portion. A second position limiting slot is formed between the assisting member and the insertion portion, and is in communication with the first position limiting slot. The latch portion is upward exposed out of the assisting member.

The locking member includes a claw which is formed at a tip end of the locking member so as to project in a direction opposite to the fitting direction to the mating connector and is caught by the receiving member.
