Resilient Clamp Patents (Class 439/575)
  • Patent number: 5007156
Abstract: A method of selectively connecting a set of winding means for a dynamoelectric machine into at least two different electrical configurations. In this method, the leads of the winding means collected in a conduit box of the dynamoelectric machine are each connected with a lead termination. A terminal block is disposed in a preselected orientation adjacent a mounting table in the conduit box, and each lead termination is inserted into a predetermined one of a plurality of connection apertures in the terminal block. The terminal block is moved from its preselected orientation into another orientation in overlaying engagement with an abutment surface on the mounting table, and the terminal block is releasably engaged in its another preselected orientation to the mounting table. A lead termination device and a method of fabricating such are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4969071
Abstract: The illumination set has several lamp sockets, which are arranged as a string by an electrical cable (104). Each lamp socket has a housing (121), which is composed of a sleeve (128) and two oppositely positioned inner parts (126, 127) carrying contact members (124, 125) connected to the cable (104). The inner parts (126, 127) at the same time constitute a bottom part (132), consist of a thermoplastic synthetic material and are interconnected by a pivot (133), which is integral therewith. The lamp socket can have a clamping member (107), which is integral with the inner parts (126, 127) and consists of two facing rings (140, 141), which have profiled surfaces (142, 143).

  • Patent number: 4790772
Abstract: A substantially U-shaped electric connecting terminal wherein a plate-like web is flanked by and is integral with two sidewalls. The web has a centrally located partly circular opening and two sector-shaped springy lugs which extend into the opening. Each sidewall has an outer panel which is integral with the web and an inner panel which is integral with the respective outer panel and carries a springy lug which overlies a portion of the opening. The dimensions of the lugs are selected in such a way that, when the web is impaled on a cylindrical or polygonal stud of a support for the terminal, the tips of the lugs frictionally engage the peripheral surface of the stud and hold the terminal in a selected position with reference to the support. The lugs of the sidewalls alternate with the lugs of the web and define therewith slots which extend radially of the opening.

  • Patent number: 4784616
Abstract: For heating, a cordless iron (2) can be placed on a heating understructure (40) adapted to be connected to an electrical power supply system via a power supply cord (8). For this purpose, the power supply cord (8) has at its one end a power plug (14) adapted to be connected to the power supply system and at its other end a socket connector (18) adapted to be connected to the heating understructure (40). If the iron is to be heated constantly, the socket connector (18) can be disconnected from the heating understructure (40) for connection to the iron (2) direct.
