Patent number: 7809461Abstract: In estimating a curved surface model by approximating the shape of the board surface of a circuit board, auxiliary measurement spots are set other than measurement spots on the board surface, eligibility as a sampling displacement magnitude in estimating a curved surface model is determined according to a difference in a displacement magnitude from a work reference surface. When the sampling displacement magnitude is determined to be ineligible, a new measurement spot is reset. By this operation, a local increase and decrease in the displacement magnitude due to a discontinuity of the board surface exerts no influence on the estimation of the curved surface model, and the curved surface model approximated more closely to the shape of the actual board surface is estimated, leading to an improvement in the work quality with the working height adjusted to the proper height.Type: GrantFiled: November 24, 2006Date of Patent: October 5, 2010Assignee: Panasonic CorporationInventors: Takahiro Noda, Tadashi Endo, Osamu Okuda, Kazuhide Nagao

Publication number: 20100041275Abstract: Disclosed are methodologies for defining matched-impedance footprints on a substrate such as a printed circuit board, for example, that is adapted to receive an electrical component having an arrangement of terminal leads. Such a footprint may include an arrangement of electrically-conductive pads and an arrangement of electrically-conductive vias. The via arrangement may differ from the pad arrangement. The vias may be arranged to increase routing density, while limiting cross-talk and providing for matched impedance between the component and the substrate. The via arrangement may be altered to achieve a desired routing density on a layer of the board. Increasing the routing density may decrease the number of board layers, which tends to decrease capacitance and thereby increase impedance. Ground vias and signal vias may be arranged with respect to one another in such a manner as to affect impedance. Thus, the via arrangement may be altered to achieve an impedance that matches the impedance of the component.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2009Publication date: February 18, 2010Applicant: FCI Americas Technology, Inc.Inventors: Danny L.C. Publication number: 20090318025Abstract: A shield connector includes a housing that has a metal terminal, a conductive inner shield shell that contains the housing, and a conductive outer shield shell that contains the inner shield shell. The inner shield shell includes a first shell body in a tubular shape for covering an outer face of the housing. The outer shield shell includes a second shell body in a tubular shape, and a fixing portion which fixes the inner shield shell. The fixing portion has an annular wall which is formed inside of the second shell body along in a circumferential direction of the second shell body. An inner face of the annular wall is tightly face-contacted on an outer face of the first shell body of the inner shield shell over an entire circumference of the outer face of the first shell body.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 15, 2009Publication date: December 24, 2009Applicant: YAZAKI CORPORATIONInventor: Isao KAMEYAMA
