Abstract: A battery terminal connector includes a bore formed by a peripheral wall for receiving a terminal of a vehicle battery, and one or more peripheral ribs or a helical rib or one or more ratchet ribs extended inward of the bore of the connector for engaging with the terminal of the battery and for securing the connector onto the terminal of the battery. A fastener may be engaged through the peripheral wall of the connector and engaged with the terminal of the battery, for further solidly securing the connector onto the terminal of the battery.
Abstract: A battery terminal clamp that clamps firmly to the battery post by tightening a bolt from the horizontal direction to improve the productivity of the bolt tightening operation. The battery terminal clamp has, on a terminal clamp main body, a ring-shaped post fitting member continuous to the cable fitting member, and a pair of right and left tightening members continuous to the respective free ends of the post fitting member and having a gap therebetween. The tightening members are brought together by a nut and bolt to close the free ends of the post fitting member continuous thereto, thus clamping the battery terminal to the outside circumference of the battery post. The pair of right and left tightening members projecting from the post fitting member are provided at a rising slope of a predetermined angle to the post fitting member.
Abstract: A nut anti-slipping member is provided, which has a nut insertion groove and covers bottom end portions of one-side opening end of a nut insertion hole. A nut is inserted in the nut insertion hole with the nut deviated from the nut anti-slipping member. In case when the nut is of a square-pole-shape type with rectangular section, the entire nut can pass upper parts of the anti-slipping member when the nut is inserted in the nut insertion hole in a horizontally longitudinal position, and a bottom part of the nut can pass the nut insertion groove when the nut is inserted in the nut insertion hole in a vertically longitudinal position.
Abstract: An improved battery jumper cable assembly having two or more battery terminals for interconnecting a plurality of truck batteries in line, the jumper cable assembly including a length of conductive flat cable, at least one take-off stud mounted in association with the cable, and a plate member to which the stud is mounted, the plate member being assembled to a portion of the length of the flat cable to aid in mounting the stud.
