Screw Axis Intersects Post Axis (e.g., Set Screw) Patents (Class 439/771)
  • Patent number: 11482800
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus has a decorative assembly stand having a cavity, a decorative assembly member that is configured to be removably received in the cavity, a coating that coats a surface of the decorative assembly member, a power socket including an electrical ground line, and a fastener. The electrical ground line is configured to be electrically connected to a surface of the decorative assembly stand. The fastener is configured to be received in an aperture of the decorative assembly stand and cut through the coating of the decorative assembly member and contact the surface of the decorative assembly member when the decorative assembly member is received in the cavity of the decorative assembly stand.

  • Patent number: 6390829
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrical connector assembly for a printed circuit board which alleviates the need to remove stingers from the assembly when removing the printed circuit board. The assembly of the present invention comprises a male connector for receiving one or more stingers. The stinger, which is located at the end of a cable such as a coaxial cable, forms an electrical circuit within the male connector. The male connector is inserted within a female connector coupled to a printed circuit board, forming an electrical connection. If the printed circuit board is removed from the assembly, the female connector is disconnected from the male connector enabling the stinger to be maintained in place with the male connector easing the replacement operation.

  • Patent number: 6361381
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a plastic cover for a connector bar that includes providing a mold having a substantially rectangular shaped block, having a first surface and a second surface adjacent the first surface. Both the first and second surfaces each have at least one generally cylindrically shaped projection extending outwardly away from the respective surfaces. To form the plastic cover, the mold is dipped into a polymer solution and is allowed to dwell in the solution for a certain period of time. Next, the plastic cover is cured for a sufficient period of time so that the polymer solution hardens to form the plastic cover. After the cover is formed around the mold, it is removed from within the cover through a slit opening. After the mold is removed from the cover, a connector bar can be inserted through the opening into the cover's cavity.

  • Patent number: 5024621
Abstract: This invention relates to a novel single block for fixing electroconductor cables to battery terminals. The single block piece has a hollow essentially parallepiped configuration, the hollow region having an ellipsoidal shape wherein the battery terminals are housed. The front end of the single block piece expands upwards, the expanded region being cross-sectionally hollow. The lower region of the front face of the single block piece has a hole with a threaded inner surface where a screw or the like is threadably inserted. A semicircular plate is fixed to the tip of the screw. The plate slides through the hollow region in the single block as the screw is being threaded in and thereby the plate will exert pressure on the battery terminal.
