  • Patent number: 10705301
Abstract: A cable clamp for clamping drop cable clamp assemblies to main span cables. The cable clamp has a body that includes a main span cable guide and holders for supporting one or more drop cable clamp assemblies. The body has a lower body half and an upper body half. The lower body half is movable relative to the upper body half between an open position and a clamping position. When the body is in a clamping position the lower body half and upper body half of the main span cable guide form a main span cable cradle. A stem extends through the lower body half of the main body section and is releasably secured to the upper body half of the main body section such that rotational movement of the stem is translated to movement of the lower body half relative to the upper body half. The stem has a collar and a spring is positioned on the stem between the collar and the lower body half of the intermediate body section to normally bias the body to the clamping position.

  • Patent number: 6766573
Abstract: An electric motor having an integrally formed bonding apparatus that allows an installer to quickly and efficiently bond the electric motor to a bonding grid of a bonding area. A fastener having a head is inserted into an aperture of the housing of the electric motor such that a bonding conductor is captured between the housing and the head. The bonding conductor is electrically coupled to the housing via direct contact between the bonding conductor and the housing and/or via indirect contact through the fastener. An integrally formed surface of the housing prevents the bonding conductor from moving out from under the head.

Abstract: A pull station for an alarm includes a housing with a handle mounted for sliding movement within the housing. The housing includes a window for a user to access the handle for forcibly sliding the handle in a vertical direction. A latch is rotatably mounted to the handle and spring biased to rotate to a locked position upon sliding movement of the handle. The latch has a portion which moves to bear against a stationary element of the housing to establish the locked position. The housing can be opened to reset the handle without changing the state of the alarm. Closing of the housing automatically resets the alarm. An attached terminal block includes a plurality of U-shaped terminal elements each having a screw terminal, a solder lug and a press pin.

  • Patent number: 5934948
Abstract: A terminal device for an electric equipment is formed of a frame having a terminal housing, a fixed terminal situated in the terminal housing, and a terminal screw having a male screw to be coupled to a tapped hole of the fixed terminal and an inverse L-shaped washer. The inverse L-shaped washer includes one side for rotatably holding the male screw and a guide plate section bent relative to the one side. A guide groove is formed in the terminal housing for receiving the guide plate section therein to vertically guide the same. Also, the terminal device includes an engagement section having a first engaging part formed on the guide plate section and a second engaging part formed at a portion facing the guide groove and engaging the first engaging part to temporarily hold the guide plate section in the guide groove. Thus, the terminal screw can be held directly above the tapped hole, which enables the male screw to be stably and easily inserted into the tapped hole, and which facilitates simple rewiring.
