Abstract: A connector comprising a connector main body for insertion of an object to be connected; a plurality of contacts disposed at intervals from one another within the connector main body in the width direction; and a freely rotatable press member for pressing respective contacts against the inserted object to be connected. When the press member is rotated in one direction, respective contacts are pressed toward the object to be connected by the press member and, when the press member is rotated in the other direction, the press of the respective contacts by the press member is cancelled. A rotation fulcrum of the press member is provided between one and the other ends so that when one end of the press member is pressed, the press member rotates in one direction and, when the other end of the press member is pressed, the press member rotates in the other direction.
Abstract: A ground conductor clamp has a sheet metal clamp body with overlapped portions. The clamp body may be stamped from sheet metal. The overlapped portions have aligned circular holes in them for receiving a threaded insert nut inserted into them. The insert nut is spin riveted to attach it to the overlapped portions of the clamp body. A flange of the insert nut has a flat face that engages the clamp body to prevent rotation of the insert nut. The overlapped portion includes an inner bent tab that strengthens the sheet metal clamp body. The clamp also includes a threaded fastener, such as a bolt, that is threaded into the insert nut to engage a conductive lead and a ground conductor, such as a ground rod or ground electrode.

Abstract: A grounding strap including a strap of flexible, electrically conductive material, the strap having a plurality of holes therethrough spaced equidistantly along a portion of the strap, a threaded nut fastened to the strap at an aperture in the strap at a location near one end thereof, a projection near the one end for engaging a hole in the strap when the strap is wrapped around a grounded member such that the portion with the hole engaging the projection is on top of the portion of the strap having the projection, the holes in the strap being spaced so that when a first hole in the strap is above the projection, a second hole in the strap is approximately above the threaded nut, a separate member loosely fastened to the strap and positioned near the nut and being arranged such that a surface of the member is disposed below the nut, the nut receiving a tightening screw, whereby when the strap is wrapped about the grounded member, the screw is insertable through the second hole and screwable into the nut so as
Abstract: A ground connector for securing a grounding wire to a conductive shield of a coaxial cable. The connector comprises a strip of flexible sheet metal which is configured to be bent to form a grounding wire attachment loop and a coaxial cable loop. The strip of sheet metal defines clamp portions each having a fastener securing aperture. A fastener clampingly engages the clamp portions through the apertures to clampingly engage the grounding wire attachment loop and the coaxial cable loop about respectively to a grounding wire and a conductive shield of a coaxial cable. At least the coaxial cable loop has an inner serrated surface portion for frictional retention with an outer surface of the conductive shield when clamped substantially thereabout by the tightening of the fastener and prevents the shield from being punctured or damaged thereby.
