    Abstract: A slip-fit electrical connector for a threaded transformer stud has a stepped or key type stud hole which includes an oversize unthreaded circular hole on top and a slightly smaller intersecting hole on the bottom. The bottom hole has threads matching those of the stud and a jam screw forces the threaded stud into intimate contact with the threads of the smaller hole, such contact extending over a substantial arc. The connection provides a tight and improved electrical connection having simplicity of installation.

A cross strap having a first end secured to the first side portion, a second end secured to the second side portion and a middle portion. A securing means is provided for securing the first and second end of the cross strap to the first and second side portions of the bracket, wherein the securing means electrically couples the cross strap to the first and second side portions. A connector is coupled to the middle portion of the cross strap for coupling at least one neutral wire conductor to the bracket.

    Abstract: An electronic power distributor is provided. The distributor is a cylindrical base unit shaped like a hockey puck which contains a top surface, bottom and side circular surfaces. In the top surface, there are a number of holes which extend into the base unit. These holes have a threaded portion for engaging with a power bolt. The side circular surface contains a number of holes which extend into the base unit and are positioned to perpendicularly intersect the holes which extend from the top surface. The holes on the side are capable of receiving the strands of a wire conductor or an adapter of other size conductors. The power bolts which hold the wire conductors in the holes through the side circular surface contain three portions. The first portion is conical and contain a first annular beveled surface extending radially and axially generally toward the vertex.

    Abstract: A turn prevention electrical connection assembly to prevent cable or other conductor connection lugs from turning on an electrical bus includes a turn prevention member, usually of cross-like configuration and having at least as many arms as there are connection lugs on one side of the bus. The turn prevention member is mounted on the bus in nested alignment with the connection lugs so that each connection lug is aligned closely adjacent to at least one arm of the turn prevention member. The turn prevention member and the connection lugs interact with each other to preclude turning of the lugs from their preset alignment.

    Abstract: A connector bar for use in above grade pedestals for the distribution for underground electrical power to residential housing includes a body member having a pair of completely enclosed cable openings for receiving the main power line cables and partially enclosed wire openings within the body member for receiving distribution cables. Each distribution cable is trimmed to the proper length by placing it adjacent the connector bar and cutting the connector approximately flush with the top of the bar and the insulation is trimmed from the cable at a location just below the connector bar. After these steps have been accomplished, the cable is installed into the connector bar by laterally placing it into the partially enclosed opening and securing it in place by means of the set screw.

Lips provided on the legs interact with grooves provided on a T-shaped member to prevent the foot members from spreading apart.

The side walls have a pair of aligned openings formed therethrough into which the bus bar is inserted. A plurality of terminal screws are each threaded in the intermediate wall of each terminal frame for clamping an external conductor between the shank of each screw and the bus bar.
