Abstract: A conductor terminal with an insulating material housing, the insulating material housing having a conductor insertion opening for receiving an electrical conductor in a conductor insertion direction, with a conductor rail section, with a clamping spring, wherein the clamping spring has a clamping leg which, with the conductor rail section, forms a clamping point for the electrical conductor, with a retaining element for holding the clamping leg in an open position of the clamping point, wherein a first latching element is arranged on the clamping leg and a second latching element is arranged on the retaining element, wherein the first and second latching elements can be latched together in the open position of the clamping point, the retaining element and the clamping spring being designed as two components which are separate from one another.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a terminal assembly for an electrical device and an electrical device comprising the same. The terminal assembly comprises: a first terminal comprising a terminal seat and a screw in a threaded connection with the terminal seat, a cavity for receiving a wire being formed in the terminal seat; and a second terminal, comprising: a body provided with a hook thereon, wherein the first terminal is adapted to be connected with the second terminal via the hook; and a clamping arm with one end connected with the body and the other end being a free end adapted to cooperate with the body for clamping the wire. Such terminal assembly can provide two different types of terminals to adapt to criteria in different countries and areas, and thus can broaden the application range of the product.

Abstract: A terminal assembly for use with an electronic device may include a first portion for secure a wire and a second portion for receiving a pin of an electronic device. The first portion and the second portion may be configured to electrically connect the pin to the wire.

Abstract: The plug connector has a housing made of insulating material which includes an opening on one face for insertion of conductive contact pins and another opening on another face for insertion of the stripped ends of electrical conductors. There is a spring force terminal connection in each conductor connection area which pushes the stripped end of a conductor toward the contact pin insertion opening. The width (B1) of a passage for a contact pin is less than the width (B2) in the contact area adjacent to the contact pin insertion opening. The stripped end of the electrical conductor makes contact at a conductor contact section and can be moved against the spring force of an associated spring element.

Abstract: The housing for an electrical device or control has a plurality of electric terminals, each having a base into which a screw is threaded with the screw head overlying the base to clamp a wire therebetween. Each base is recessed into the housing in a cavity having one side closed by a tab bent up from the base. The housing cavity and tab prevent lateral access to the space between the screw head and base except where permitted by a hole in the tab. The hole has an inverted teardrop shape and has its longitudinal axis tilted about 20.degree. so the larger end of the hole is further from the screw. The hole is positioned to the left of the screw (when viewed from outside the tab). As the screw is tightened the wire is forced down the tilted axis of the hole closer to the screw while friction between the screw head and the wire urges the wire further into the cavity. The base is provided with raised bumps or a recess. When the screw is tightened the wire is deformed against the bumps or into the recess.
