  • Patent number: 11095977
Abstract: The present invention relates to a sound emitter device (1) that is immersible or semi-immersible in a liquid, the device comprising both a rigid hollow body (3) having at least one opening one of its ends (31, 32) and arranged to be immersed at least in part in the liquid, in such a manner that the main axis (4) passing through the opening of the hollow body (3) is substantially vertical, and also at least one electrodynamic loudspeaker (5, 51, 52) comprising at least one diaphragm (6, 61, 62), at least one magnet, at least one moving coil (7, 71, 72). The at least one loudspeaker (5, 51, 52) is fastened inside the hollow body (3) in the proximity of at least one immersed opening of the hollow body (3), the device (1) and its hollow body (3) being arranged so that, when the device (1) is at least semi-immersed, the diaphragm (6, 61, 62) of the at least one loudspeaker (5, 51, 52) is in contact with the liquid on at least one of its sides and closes the immersed opening (32) of the hollow body (3).

  • Publication number: 20120171911
Abstract: The present invention is an inflatable safety marker for a diver comprising a cylindrical hollow housing having a lid, a puncture plate, an inflatable bladder and a length of line connecting the bladder to the housing. The lid is hingably affixed to one end of the housing. The puncture plate is affixed within the housing below the lid. The puncture plate comprises a pierce needle positioned at the center with the sharp end exposed on the lower surface of the plate and the other end of the pierce needle exposed on the upper surface of the plate. The puncture plate also has a threaded cylindrical skirt depending from the lower surface about the sharp end of the pierce needle. The threaded cylindrical skirt is able to receive a threaded end of a canister containing gas for inflating the bladder. The inflatable bladder is positioned on the upper surface of the puncture plate with its open end removably affixed to the other end of the pierce needle. A length of line connects the bladder to the housing.

  • Patent number: 5369796
Abstract: A floating sound system for use in a swimming pool or the like has a radio, tape player, power supply, and controls. The power supply unit nests within a toroidal float, being attached thereto by straps. The radio and associated components are located in a domed housing resting upon the float. The sound system is built to disassemble into these three subassemblies. The resultant sound system floats stably in water, and, due to speaker cones arranged parallel to the water surface, projects sound very effectively.

  • Patent number: 4763126
Abstract: A buoy for marine vessels that is responsive to a transmitted RF signal of a set frequency consisting of an RF receiver disposed within the buoy and tuned to a set frequency of the transmitted RF signal and an antenna coupled to the input of the RF receiver. A switching circuit is coupled to the RF receiver, and a lamp is disposed on the buoy so that when the RF receiver receives a signal at the set frequency, it will operate said switching circuit and turn on said lamp. The buoy may be a pick-up buoy having an elongated stem on the top of the buoy, and containing the antenna. The lamp can also be mounted on the end of the antenna. A sound source coupled to the output of the switching circuit can sound an audible signal in response to the transmitted RF signal.

  • Patent number: 4636176
Abstract: A boat propelled by a motorcycle. The boat propelled by a motorcycle has a portable ramp to get the motorcycle on and off. The motorcycle produces rotational energy by its driven wheel and transmits it to a pair of rollers covered by rubber or any nonslippery material. The motorcycle is fastened to the boat by two yokes which support the pedals making them like one piece without movement, except if the whole boat gets moved. Fore roller transmits the driving force to a gear which has a sprocket chain mounted and at the other end of this, has another gear which makes an axis spin that is connected to a gear box. Another shaft extends out of the gear box and makes the propeller spin to move the boat. The gear box has forward propeller direction and reverse propeller direction. The aft roller makes two pulleys spin which make two transmission bands spin and make two more pulleys spin which make two ducted fans spin, one on each side of the engine of the motorcycle and cool it off.
