Abstract: A series of three separable disk-shaped resistance members have similar openings in the central regions thereof, which, when aligned, permit two or more of the members to be grasped in the hand of the user and moved in unison through the water to exercise the arm of the user. Each resistance member has a face area which is different from the face area of the other two so the resistance members can be utilized singly or in various combinations to adjust the resistance to movement to that desired by the user. The resistance members are made of light-weight, plastic material and the larger members tend to distort when moved through the water by an adult. Reinforcement and prevention of distortion of the larger member is effected by associating one or more of the smaller members with the larger member when it is being used.

Abstract: Exercise enhancing devices attached to the foot and leg of a person to enable selective development of the muscles in aquatic environment. The devices are provided with adjustable vent apertures that enable adjustment of the water resistance to movement of the device to achieve compatability with the desires of the user. A body support device releasably attachable to the side of a swimming pool enables the devices to enhance torso or abdominal exercises in order that a complete workout of all or selected body muscles may be achieved.

Abstract: A swimming glove composed of five finger sleeves having a web in between each two neighboring finger sleeves, each finger sleeve having an end opening and at least one pair of side openings. The glove also has a palm side and a back side respectively provided with central openings, and an edge part provided with a third opening. A pair of fastening straps adapted to extend transversally across the hand of the wearer is provided to leave the wrist portion free from restraint. The glove is capable of making swimming and diving easier and also allowing the free movement of the fingers and the hand of the wearer of the glove.
