Supplying Compressed Gas To Rupture Sheet (e.g., Film Burster) Patents (Class 446/181)
  • Patent number: 11638883
Abstract: A system for recycling helium comprising a bursting chamber with a re-sealable lid and a vent; a bursting mechanism disposed inside the bursting chamber; wherein the bursting chamber is in fluid communication with a compressor; wherein an output of the compressor is in fluid communication with an evacuation valve and a control valve; wherein when the evacuation valve is opened and the control valve is closed the compressor evacuates the air from the bursting chamber; and wherein when the evacuation valve is closed and the control valve is opened, and the bursting mechanism is activated, compressed helium gas recovered from balloons burst in the bursting chamber flows through the control valve into a helium storage tank.

  • Patent number: 7175499
Abstract: The present invention provides a means for holding the components of the device, a means for storing gas under pressure which is maintained separately from the interior of the device until actuating, a means for releasing pressurized gas from the storage device into the interior of the device, a means for actuating the device upon an external event, a means for retaining the pressurized gas in the interior of the device until a desired internal pressure level is achieved and a means for channeling the pressurized gas that is released upon actuation so that the energy supplied propels a pressurized fluid to explosively pass outside of the device through the conduit.

Abstract: A toy hand grenade comprises a cardboard tube, pyrotechnic compositions including a smoke agent, an emitting charge and a color powder, a pulling thread and friction ignition means, an ignition mechanism including friction composition, ignition composition, a pulling thread, a safety fuse and a quick fuse. The quick fuse is firstly ignited by the friction between the cotton pulling thread and the friction composition. The toy hand grenade is thrown at an open space beyond 10 meters after ignition to release a great quantity of smoke and generate a great quantity of gases. The gases may destroy the structural shape of the cardboard tube and set off massive color powder. The invention is mechanically simple and inexpensive to manufacture as compared with the conventional toy hand grenade. Of course, it does not lose its effectiveness due to rusting.

  • Patent number: 5681203
Abstract: A bubble popping device (10) includes a piece of bubble wrap (12) and a frame (14) about the perimeter of the piece of bubble wrap (12). A person can grasp the frame (14) and squeeze bubble portions of the piece of bubble wrap (12) to make popping noises when the bubble portions brake. An alternate bubble popping device (36) is also provided and consists of a roll of bubble wrap (38) with a dispenser (40) for holding the roll of bubble wrap (38) thereon. A hanger (42) extends from the dispenser (40) for retaining the dispenser (40) onto a top back portion (44) of a backrest (46) of a first stadium seat (48). A person (50) sitting on a second stadium seat (52) directly behind the first stadium seat (48) can pull the roll of bubble wrap (38) on the dispenser (40) and squeeze bubble portion of the roll of bubble wrap (38) to make popping noises when the bubble portions brake.

  • Patent number: 4848743
Abstract: A game or amusement device adapted to making a popping sound when compressed in certain areas. A series of bubble like pocket members are constructed so that when they are compressed by at least a child's body weight they will break and make a popping sound. The series of bubble like pocket members are arranged in a manner that they can be supported on a supporting surface and indicia placed are over said pocket members to indicate to a player a predetermined pattern for breaking the pocket members. In one embodiment the indicia comprises markings which delineate a roadway composed of obstacles with directional arrows.
