  • Patent number: 6881119
Abstract: A toy or article containing an elastomeric and deformable bladder therein that facilitates in actuating a component of the toy or article such as a tail or an arm when squeezed or otherwise deformed is disclosed. The actuatable toy generally comprises a deformable bladder containing a fluid substance and is deformable proximate to the actuatable component upon application of pressure thereon. In addition, the actuatable toy comprises a flexible outer covering enclosing the deformable bladder, where at least a portion of the outer covering comprises a movable material disposed proximate to the actuatable component of the toy, whereupon actuating of the movable material and deformation of the bladder facilitate actuation of the actuatable component upon application of pressure on the toy.

  • Patent number: 6419541
Abstract: A device for collecting treats has a handle having a first end and a second end. A basket is connected to the first end of the handle, the basket including an opening shaped to receive treats. The handle is shaped to allow a user to grasp the second end of the handle and extend the basket to a giver, who drops treats in the basket. The device includes an inflatable sack positioned at the first end of the handle. A feature shaped to resemble a scary creature such as a snake or rat is positioned around the inflatable sack. The device includes a pump. Inflating the inflatable sack with the pump causes the feature to move from a retracted position in which the feature is unobtrusive, to a protruding position in which the feature protrudes from the end of the handle thereby generating a startling effect to the giver. A coil spring attached to the feature then functions to return the feature to the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 6012960
Abstract: A generally cylindrical base defines a bottom supporting surface securable by suction cup attachment to a table top or the like. The base defines an interior reservoir and is hingedly joined to a pivotable cover. The cover supports a rotating element and an upwardly directed spray nozzle. A generally U-shaped handle is pivotally secured to the base and is operatively coupled to an internal pump mechanism which forces water upwardly through the spray nozzle and a drive mechanism which rotates the rotatable element.

  • Patent number: 4925425
Abstract: A sound generating toy adapted to emit a sound when the lower jaw is opened is described. The device includes an upper pressure plate which at its front portion mounts a head structure having a mouth and a lower pressure plate which has a front portion rotatably mounted on the upper plate and forming a lower jaw for the mouth structure. A sound emitting rubber sack is disposed between the two plates. When the plates are squeezed together, the lower jaw opens and a sound is emitted from the sack. When the pressure plates are released, the sack refills with air returning them to their original spaced apart relationship and closing the lower jaw against the mouth.
