  • Patent number: 11644216
Abstract: A dynamic register system automatically adjusts venting panels attached to an air vent in order to evenly disperse the air supplied by the vent in a room. The dynamic register system includes a fan internally mounted within the air vent. The air supplied by the air vent causes the fan to turn providing the system with mechanical energy. The fan is then attached to a gear system which in turn is attached to an adapter. The gear system then translates the rotational mechanical energy of the fan into an oscillating motion for the adapter. The adapter is then mounted to an axle which engages with the venting panels attached to the vent. As the adapter oscillates the axle is adjusted which in turn adjusts the venting panels periodically to evenly distribute air.

  • Patent number: 6243982
Abstract: A spinner shape (10) cut and formed to resemble a small bait fish which exhibits rotation (40) in moving air or water as a result of action against the broad surfaces of the tail fin plates (24) and the internal broad surfaces of the spinner bodies (28). The spinner shape is then journaled on a shaft (32) through center hole (14) and adjoined tab holes (12) for assembly as an in-line spinning lure (30), or is adjoined at the opposite ends with a split ring (46) to be attached by way of a swivel (50) to a “V” frame spinner bait (48) or to a jig spinner (49).

  • Patent number: 6231419
Abstract: A pen cap that has a propeller attached to the shirt clip found on many pens. The propeller is designed to rotate about a fixed shaft as an amusing diversion for small children or bored executives. An alternative design has a hinge mounted at the top of the clip that allows the clip and propeller to rotate 90 degrees. This increases the range of amusement for the device.

  • Patent number: 6074267
Abstract: A wind driven flying toy comprising a single guideline and an aerodynamic body slidably secured to the guideline, the aerodynamic body being capable of traversing the entire length single guideline in both directions by reacting with the action of wind power member even when the wind power is in a constant wind direction. The direction of the travel of the aerodynamic body can be modified by adjusting the orientation of the aerodynamic body and is not dependent upon a change in the direction of the wind. In addition, the direction of travel of the aerodynamic body along the single guideline can be reversed by rotation of a handle connected to the end of the guideline when the aerodynamic body is in contact with the handle.

  • Patent number: 6074268
Abstract: There is disclosed a space accessory for forming a three-dimensional ornamental pattern. The space accessory includes a rotating center, necessary disk supports disposed along the rotating center and a predetermined number of vanes each having a design shape or pattern, said vanes being of the same shape, thickness and mass and fixed to the disk support for balanced rotation with a natural air current. For changes in the ornamental pattern of the space accessory there are only need in changes in the design or pattern of the vanes.

  • Patent number: 5971828
Abstract: A toy windmill includes a leaf member and a rod member. The rod member consists of a first large diameter grip rod, a small diameter shaft extending from an upper end of the grip rod, two washers, an action block and a second large diameter rod. The shaft passes through the washers, a post portion of the action block and the second large diameter rod to let the action block freely rotate relative to the rod member. Then the leaf member is assembled with the action block tightly so that the leaf member may rotate relative to the rod member to suit to the direction of wind to let the leaves of the leaf member receive and be rotated by the wind.

  • Patent number: 5833174
Abstract: An improved billowing rotary kite is provided. The rotary kite includes a hollow, collapsible wind receiving surface. An air inlet end of the wind receiving surface is retained open by a collapsible and adjustable frame affixed to the surface on a leading edge of the inlet end. Air flow through the kite is controlled by a flexible trailing edge at an air outlet end of the surface. The flexible trailing edge comprises a plurality of longitudinal vanes that extend about the air outlet end of the surface. The fully collapsible surface, and collapsible and adjustable frame, provide a rotary kite that is fully collapsible for packaging or stowage purposes. The depth of the frame is adjustable for obtaining the highest possible rotative flight characteristics and rotative diving capabilities of the kite. In flight, air currents pass through the air inlet end of the kite, through the surface along a longitudinal axis thereof, and out the outlet end.

  • Patent number: 5797811
Abstract: A juggling stick including on each end an end piece with symmetrical air foil side wings of a closed cell foam or like material, such as leather, layered fabrics or inflatable rubber and rubber-like materials. The closed cell foam is intended to be mounted with grommets or other fastening device and secured to each end of the juggling stick. The closed cell foam can be coated with a liquid plastic and even splatter coated, all of non-toxic material. Each end piece includes at least three symmetrical air foil side wings with locking tabs to engage through a hole of the next air foil side wing. The air foils cut through the air with the wings catching the air and slowing the action or play of the juggling stick down for complex moves, even to the point of causing a slower negative flowtation for a change of direction depending upon the particular juggling maneuvers. Tassels can be applied to each end of the juggling stick for artistic decoration.
