By Direct Linkage To Vehicle Wheel Or Axle Patents (Class 446/277)
  • Patent number: 10765960
Abstract: A leg actuator mechanism, a method of manufacturing the leg actuator mechanism, and a doll implementing a leg actuator mechanism is provided. The leg actuator includes an upper leg mechanism comprising a hip end and an opposing knee end. The leg actuator also includes a lower leg mechanism comprising a first end and an opposing second end, wherein the first end of the lower leg portion is operably coupled to the knee end of the upper leg portion. The leg actuator further includes a follower mechanism. The follower mechanism includes a mounting defining a follower pathway configured to receive a follower joint. The follower mechanism also includes an upper follower connector and a lower follower connector. The follower mechanism moves at least one of the upper leg mechanism or the lower leg mechanism when activated.

  • Patent number: 8371898
Abstract: A suction toy assembly and its method of operation. The suction toy assembly has a chassis. The chassis has a front end, a rear end, side surfaces and a base plate. A fan opening is formed through the base plate. A motorized fan is mounted to draw air through the fan opening from the surrounding area. This creates a low pressure condition under the base. A drive wheel is used to propel the assembly. A linkage element is coupled to the drive wheel. At least one extraneous element is provided that protrudes outwardly away from the chassis as a cantilever. The extraneous elements are articulated by movements of the linkage element when the drive wheel rotates, or the chassis moves. Appendages may be mounted on a flexible member to allow for the illusion of climbing.

  • Patent number: 6431940
Abstract: A toy doll is articulated and removably attached to a toy scooter so that the doll's arms appear to steer the scooter and the doll's foot appears to tilt downward to push back against the ground and propel the scooter. Additionally, the animated toy doll and scooter assembly is controlled by a radio remote control unit itself shaped like a scooter and having a toy foot attached to it. The toy foot is slid forward or back to control the forward and reverse motion of the scooter and is turned to steer the scooter.

  • Patent number: 5888138
Abstract: A movable model object which resembles a racehorse has a model supported on a base having wheels that run on a field of a horse racing game apparatus. The model includes front and rear legs as movable elements and a power transmitting mechanism for transmitting rotation of the wheels to the front and rear legs. The power transmitting mechanism includes an endless belt for transmitting the rotation of the wheels to a rotatable shaft rotatably supported on a fixed frame of the model to move the front and rear legs.

  • Patent number: 4824415
Abstract: A doll with articulated legs and an articulated neck is releasably connected to a motor driven, steerable, remote controlled shopping cart. Movement of the cart causes a cam driven set of handles, to which the doll is attached, to pivot from side-to-side causing the doll to rock from side-to-side alternately lifting one leg and then the other. The accessory has two motors driving separate wheel axles that are each connected through a spring clutch to independently drive the cam. Remote control of the separate motors effects turning of the accessory. As each side of the doll is lifted from the ground, the respective leg is lifted and an eccentric weight within the lifted leg causes the leg to step forwardly.

  • Patent number: 4576583
Abstract: A moving toy has a plurality of rotating elements located along opposite sides of its body. A motor is connected to these elements via a gear train so as to rotate the elements on the body. A plurality of sets of movable members each are capable of independently being connected to either the rotating elements or to both the rotating elements and the body. Each of the sets of the movable members when connected to the rotating elements are capable of moving the body in a unique manner which differs from the method of movement of any of the other of the sets of the members. The members can include eccentric rolling members, single walking members or compound walking members.
