Patent number: 7086921Abstract: Children's rocking toy, in particular in the form of a stylized horse, having a one-piece basic body made of flexible synthetic material, a simply curved rocking surface forming the base of the rocking toy and a seat region molded into it. In one refinement, the seat region is molded into it to a sufficient depth that a backrest region is produced. The rocking toy has a horse's head and a horse's rear part which serves as a support for a child situated in the seat. The basic body can consist of foam, in particular of foam rubber. In this case, the basic body is of a Shore hardness sufficient for it to have sufficient stability for rocking and to yield when a child is lying on a side surface of the toy. For further stabilization purposes, the basic body widens in its cross section towards the base. The basic body is preferably manufactured from a foam block and, for further refinement, can have a material covering, if appropriate a slip-on cover.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2004Date of Patent: August 8, 2006Inventor: Jost-Ulrich Kuegler

Patent number: 6458434Abstract: The present invention contemplates a pedestal mounted taxidermy mannequin, and a mold for manufacturing same. Once molded, the taxidermy mannequin includes an elongated, bored hole formed in a bottom portion thereof, and a rigid block positioned in supporting relation to the bored hole, thereby providing structural reinforcement and integrity to the bored hole. A rod is inserted into the bored hole to mount the mannequin to a pedestal. The mold for manufacturing the mannequin is an injection mold into which an elongated rod is inserted after the polyurethane has been injected therein. Just prior to hardening of the polyurethane, the end is removed, thereby leaving a bored hold in the mannequin form.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 1997Date of Patent: October 1, 2002Assignee: Joe Coombs Classics, Inc.Inventor: Clyde R Coombs, Jr.

Patent number: 5897419Abstract: A moving model device for use in a racing game machine having a racing field, the moving model device includes a base member provided with a rollable body rollable over the racing field, an animal model body disposed above the base member and a rotary shaft provided between the base member and the animal model. The rotary shaft is rotatable with the rollable body. The animal model body is provided with a motion conversion mechanism which converts a rotary motion of the rotary shaft into a reciprocating motion and an oscillating mechanism which swings the foreleg and hind leg members in accordance with the converted reciprocating motion.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 1997Date of Patent: April 27, 1999Assignee: Konami Co., Ltd.Inventor: Masanori Suganuma
