  • Patent number: 10272350
Abstract: A pulsating imitation speaker includes a fixed cover, a flexible cover, and a motor and gear assembly having a motor with a motor shah, a first gear on a first axle, and a second gear on a second axle. The motor is drivingly engaged with the first gear via a pinion on the motor shaft and the first gear is drivingly engaged with the second gear such that when the pinion is rotated by the motor, the first and second gear also rotate. The pulsating imitation speaker further includes an actuator fixedly engaged with the flexible cover and a first and second circular member each engaged with the actuator and respectively positioned on opposite ends of the second axle such that the circular members rotate with the second gear. The actuator is reciprocated by rotation of the circular members such that the flexible cover moves relative to the fixed cover, when the motor is activated.

  • Patent number: 5584743
Abstract: The present invention relates to a toy road scraper having three blade members which are vertically movable between a first and a second limit position. The movement of the blade members is controlled through the instrumentality of cables slidingly engaging flexible sheathings. Each blade member is connected to one such cable, the latter being also connected to a control panel having levers for imparting linear displacements to the cables. The linear displacement of a cable results in a corresponding blade member moving from its first to its second limit position, or vice-versa. Two directional cables are connected to the front pivotable wheels and to directional handles on the control panel for steering the toy road scraper. The control panel is positioned at the rear end of the toy road scraper and at such a height to allow a child using it to stand up, walk and have unlimited access to the controls on the control panel.

  • Patent number: 5435768
Abstract: Described is a remotely controlled miniature model trash truck with operating features that simulate those of a full size trash truck. The truck features moveable and controllable forks, fork frames, top access door, rear door, and an ejector blade. The mechanisms are remotely controllable by a direct current electric motor. The preferred motors are electric servo motors. The doors are actuable by the motors rotating eccentrics which are linked by rigid rods to the operating doors. An ejector blade is longitudinally moveable within the truck body by threadable engagement with a electric motor driven lead screw longitudinally mounted between the front end and rear opening of the truck box. The front fork frame is pivotally attached to the truck chassis and swingable between a loading position and dumping position by controllable excitation of a remotely controlled motor. Front forks are pivotally attached to the fork frame and positionable by actuation of a remotely controlled motor.

Abstract: A temporary type of surface structure for use with toy vehicles. An elongate strip of flexible material has a front surface and a back surface. The front surface has the appearance of a road, or highway or street. The back surface is provided with adhesive or tacky material which is capable of attachment of the strip to a floor or the like and which is capable of frequent removal and reattachment of the strip to surfaces such as a floor or a carpet or the like, either indoors or out-of-doors. The invention also involves a toy machine which is capable of laying a strip of material upon a surface to simulate the construction of a road surface.

  • Patent number: 4917649
Abstract: A toy load carrying vehicle includes a body having a cavity and a load which is movable into and out of the cavity to simulate loading and unloading. The load includes a downwardly extending tab engageable with surface tabs at the ends of a path travelled by the vehicle. As the vehicle moves from one end to the other the engaging tabs cause the load to move into and out of the body. The vehicle may be a toy fork lift truck which moves along a toy train platform from a building at one end to a train car on tracks alongside the platform at the other end. The platform includes a slotted path and a drive mechanism below the platform connected to the truck through the slot to move the truck and load along the path. The load is moved out of the truck when it engages a tab within the building to simulate the loading and is moved into the truck when it engages a tab at the edge of the platform to simulate unloading at the train car.
