Abstract: Simulated padlock devices and associated training devices are provided, which allow simulated forcible entry of padlocks using cutting or lock breaking devices. For example, a simulated padlock includes first and second metallic plates, a u-shaped metallic rod, and connecting elements (such as threaded bolts) to connect the first and second metallic plates together with end portions of the u-shaped metallic rod secured between the first and second plates by compressive forces applied from connecting the first and second metallic plates together using the connecting elements. The u-shaped metallic rod is configured to simulate a shackle of the simulated padlock device. The first and second metallic plates, which are connected together with the end portions of the u-shaped metallic rod secured there between, are configured to simulate a lock body of the simulated padlock device with the simulated padlock device in a simulated locked state.

Abstract: The portable multi-use self-defense device can include a trigger; a housing; two or more canisters, said canisters containing at least one of gas and liquids; and an engagement mechanism coupled to said trigger and to said canisters, said engagement mechanism being capable of actuating the discharge of the at least one of gas and liquids from the two or more canisters substantially simultaneously.

Abstract: A container for holding novelty items, toys or candies that is an openable closed-shape with a lock/release plug. The closed-shape can be repeatedly opened and closed to remove and refill the novelty items. The container can be any closed-shape required for end use. A lock/release plug is used to both open and lock the closed-shape into a closed state. The lock/release plug is dimensioned to fit within the interior diameter of the closed-shape. The closed-shape has slots proximate each open end that interact with compression tabs on the lock/release plug. A center stop assists in aligning the compression tabs with the slots. The container can be configured to be a hula hoop or be adorned on one's body, such as a necklace or a bracelet.

Abstract: A hooded blanket and stuffed toy combination device that includes a blanket having a perimeter defining an area, a hood attached to the perimeter and positioned externally to the area, and an ornamental surface comprising an outer surface of the hood, wherein the hood comprises an outer shell and an interior volume whereby the blanket is stored within the interior volume of the hood to provide a stuffed toy.

Abstract: A modular combination toy and desktop writing accessory apparatus comprising a plurality of structural elements each having at least one nodal connector portion to which a complementary connector portion of another structural element can be coupled. The structural elements can be assembled into a barrel-like form that is configured with a passageway for carrying a writing component of the invention. The toy includes a main body and an extendable member movably connected to the main body. The toy is reconfigurable between a first configuration in which the extendable member is retracted relative to the main body and a second configuration in which the extendable member is extended relative to the main body. The main body of the toy is coupled to the base component and the extendable member of the toy is coupled to the side component, so that the toy is reconfigurable between its first configuration and its second configuration while remaining coupled to the packaging assembly.

Abstract: A mold for forming a snowman includes lower, intermediate and upper generally spherical, hollow members comprised of clear plastic. Each plastic member includes an upper aperture for filling the member with snow. The lower member includes a generally flat base portion for positioning stability and an upper connection ring adapted for secure coupling to a lower connection ring on the intermediate member. The intermediate member also includes an upper connection ring adapted for secure coupling to a lower connection ring on the upper member. The three connected members form a hollow, vertical structure which when filled with snow provides a snowman of classic shape, symmetry and proportions. The individual spherical hollow members are easily connected and disconnected, with the intermediate and upper members having apertures for receiving eye, nose, mouth and arm indicia, with the upper member further including a hat mounting arrangement in one embodiment.

The housing can additionally be part of a vehicle and have wheels.

Abstract: A toothbrush for children has a cape element extending from a point along its handle, the rigid cape element extending from the handle and adjoining the handle so as to divide the handle into a lower portion and an upper portion, the upper portion including a head having bristles. The handle and cape element define a space between them into which a child can place a hand to hold the toothbrush. The cape element meets the handle at a sufficiently large angle that a hand of a child on the lower portion of the handle can hold the lower portion and brush the child's teeth. The lower portion of the handle is smooth and not in contact with anything from a point on the lower portion just below where the cape element adjoins the handle and downward.

Abstract: A bubble wand having a hilt and a disc for blowing bubbles therethrough is provided. The disc can be removably connected to the hilt. The hilt can also comprise a removable base, and have a hollow chamber disposed therein. The base can be removed, so that items can be stored in the hollow chamber, such as coins, or other bubble wands. The hilt can also be disassembled into separate components.

A support element is coupled to the end cap. The support element extends into the hollow body through the open bottom end. The support element is selectively positionable between a closed position, where the support element holds the end cap element in obstruction of the open bottom end, and an open position where the support element holds the end cap element away from the open bottom end. Removable pull pins are inserted through the slots in the hollow body. The pull pins extend into the hollow body where some of the pull pins engage the support element. The pull pins that do engage the support element hold the support element in the closed position.

The Internet web page, domain name, or URL address may be controlled and maintained by the vendor or by an intermediate advertising service such that different information about the vendor's products or services may be provide to the user of the computer input device.

Abstract: A building component for facilitating a construction of a snow man/woman. A spherically-shaped body is provided that has an outer surface and an interior, the interior substantially lighter than when the interior is filled with snow. An adhesion surface is provided on the outer surface of the spherically-shaped body that substantially increases the ability of the outer surface to adhere snow to the spherically-shaped body. The spherically-shaped body and adhesion surface form a building component for facilitating the construction of the snow man/woman.

Abstract: A container for holding component parts of a construction toy. The container preferably is a suitcase or briefcase configuration, with a carrying handle at the top. An access cover, comprising a large portion of the front wall of the container and a portion of the bottom wall, is hinged on the bottom wall. When the access cover is open, both the cover and the container lie flat on a floor or other support surface, forming an extra large access opening and allowing easy access to parts within the container. The access cover, when open, forms a tray or receptacle, and can function somewhat like a dust pan, facilitating cleanup after use by enabling loose parts to be scooped onto the open cover and then discharged into the container by upward pivoting movement of the cover.

Abstract: An improved baby bottle adapted with handles and a sound-generating module for generating audible sounds. A generally cylindrical baby bottle is adapted with longitudinally extending slots on opposing sides of the bottle. The slots receive and retain a removable handle assembly having first and second opposing handles that facilitate holding of the bottle while feeding. Additionally, the handle assembly includes a portion adapted for receiving an interchangeable sound-generating module in removable engagement therewith. The sound-generating module includes a battery power source, memory chip, speaker, and electrical circuitry required to selectively produce sounds when disposed on the handle assembly. The sound module may be adapted to play single or multiple songs such as the ABC song or lullabies, or may be configured for educational purposes such as number counting lessons.

Abstract: This invention allows for an electronic doll-house to be constructed at a reasonable cost that provides the ability to identify the location of a number of figures that a child may manipulate in a play space. By use of IR communications and the characteristics of such a communications link, a doll-house is provided that combines the ability to be built at a relatively low cost with the advantages of not requiring physical contacts, special purpose RFID chips and transceiving arrangements, or other expensive sensing methods. In brief, the invention makes use of an IR transmitter that sends a unique ID code upon user activation which allows for power savings, the elimination of contact points or RF components, the localization of the signal to a room in a doll-house, and by use of reflecting paths, allows relative independence of orientation.

Abstract: A kit of decorative pumpkins is disclosed where one of the pumpkins incorporates a rear opening large enough to allow the other pumpkins comprising the kit to be introduced therethrough for convenient storage within the one pumpkin. Each of the pumpkins can also incorporate pumpkin shell decorations thereon defined by shell cut-outs which define pliable peripheral edges adapted to be bent for altering the appearance of the shell decoration.

The apparatus comprises a stand member with a substantially hollow member engageable with an upper portion of the stand member, the substantially hollow member being in a predetermined shape indicative of a particular sport. There is an opening disposed adjacent a top of the hollow member to enable access into an interior thereof. A pop-up figure is disposed within the interior of the hollow member. A hinged lid is rotatingly engageable with the hollow member adjacent the opening for closing the opening. A latch is disposed in one of the hollow member and the hinged lid for securing the hinged lid in a closed position. There is a means engageable with the latch means for releasing the lid and a biasing means for causing the pop-up figure to be raised out of the hollow member when the hinged lid is open.

Abstract: A soft sculpture shellfish animal toy comprises a soft sculpture of an oyster accented with features to give it “personality” and “hugability” to children and humor to adults. Abstract: An apparatus and method for creating and destroying toys having a solid exterior and liquid interior are disclosed. The apparatus and method entail the creation of an impression within a supply of modeling compound using a form having a desired shape. The impression formed within the modeling compound is then filled with a curable liquid which cures upon contact with the modeling compound. The modeling compound remains in contact with the curable liquid for a sufficient length of time to cure an exterior skin while leaving the interior in a liquid state. The liquid interior is then drained and refilled with a non-curable liquid so as to provide a toy having life-like features. The kit further provides a crushing mechanism having a movable plunger adapted to physically crush the toy by rupturing the exterior skin and splattering the liquid interior against a dome of the crushing mechanism.
