Abstract: A modular toy building kit system allows a person to build various structures, including rooms, houses or the like. The system includes a plurality of panels. Each of the panels has a base wall and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending downwardly from an outer edge of the base wall. Each of the panels is removably couplable to an adjacently positioned one of the panels. A plurality of posts is provided. Each of the posts has a top side, a bottom side and a peripheral wall coupled to and extending between the top side and the bottom side. Each of the posts is removably couplable to and positionable between adjacently positioned ones of the panels.

Abstract: A corrugated cardboard constructible toy has a set of recyclable shipping boxes and comprises an outer box that in its entirety forms a main part of the toy besides temporary uses for shipping the toy to and from a toy user. One or more inner boxes of corrugated fiberboard are contained in the outer box during shipping and then deployed to mate with the outer box to provide a subassembly of the toy with a predetermined rigidity. Auxiliary forms of corrugated fiberboard for mating with the outer and inner boxes to selectively support the toy subassembly as it differentiates into a model figure or building for a child to actively play on or in. A number of dowel fasteners may penetrate walls of the fiberboard to maintain the integrity of the toy.

Abstract: A toy train accessory for use with a toy train is provided and has at least one track section disposed across the accessory and connectable to a toy train track. A slot is formed in the track section, and an upwardly spring biased sensor is disposed in the slot. At least one entertainment device such as a light or sound generator is connectable to the sensor. When a toy train passes over the sensor on the track, the entertainment device is activated.

Abstract: A toy building set comprising building elements with at least two side walls that define a width for the building elements and a top face with coupling studs arranged in parallel rows on the top face such that the rows are spaced apart. The building elements have a bottom with a cavity for receiving coupling studs on other building elements. The toy building set comprises a toy vehicle with wheels that are mounted in pairs on opposed sides of the vehicle. The wheels in each pair are arranged at such distance from each other that there is room for an integer multiple of rows of coupling studs between the wheels, and that both wheels in a pair can simultaneously be in rolling contact with a top side of the building element.

The element is characterised in that the string (2), the chain, etc., is mounted so high on the coupling device (3) that a momentum influences the coupling device (3) that twists the coupling device (3) off the coupling stud (6) despite the frictional force therebetween when the element is pulled.

Abstract: A convertible toy truck/wagon includes a chassis and wheel assembly, a truck bed and a handle member pivotally mounted on the chassis and wheel assembly. The chassis and wheel assembly includes a main chassis member, a truck cab on the chassis member and a plurality of wheels for movably supporting the chassis and wheel assembly on a supporting surface. The truck bed is pivotable on the chassis member between a first substantially horizontal position and a second upwardly pivoted position, and the handle member is pivotable between an inoperative first position in which it extends rearwardly from the cab along the chassis member and an operative second position in which it extends forwardly and upwardly from the truck cab.

Abstract: A construction toy set whose main component is a cubical open-top box, the bottom and side walls of which are divided into quadrants, each having a keyhole therein and a coupling collar encircling the keyhole and projecting from the quadrant. Also included in the set are cylindrical spacers that fit over the collars and extend therefrom, wheels having cylindrical hubs that can slip over the spacers which then function as axles, and hub caps that rest against the outer end of the spacers or the wheel hubs, each cap having a center keyhole matching the quadrant keyhole. The components can be assembled and interconnected to create different structures by means of connector bolts each having a key at one end capable of passing through the keyholes.

Abstract: A toy cog wheel railway is provided having a track with smooth driving faces and a center cogging member with two opposed vertically extending racks thereon. The associated train has an engine with a driven chassis and further cars with undriven running chassis. The chassis contain wheels with smooth faces to run on the driving faces of the track. The undersides of the chassis are provided with opposed guide members that contact the opposed sides of the cogging member. The driven chassis is provided with a motor whose drive axis is vertical with respect to the driving faces of the track and is offset with respect to the center line between the guide members so that a cogwheel attached to the drive axle engages only one of the racks.

Abstract: A track system for toy vehicles contains straight and curved track pieces at the end of which are reference points that coincide with symmetry points of a track grid having a track module, M, which is a multiple of a building module, m, of a base plate for mounting the track pieces. The length of the straight track pieces which are disposed either parallel to or diagonally with respect to the track grid are a multiple of or .sqroot.2 times a multiple of the track module, M. The curved track pieces are composed of a longer arcuate segment and a shorter straight segment. The center of the arcuate segment is deplaced with respect to the center of an arc, whose center is a symmetry point of the track grid and whose two radii define an angular range of the curved track piece. The center of the arcuate segment is defined by the intersection of an angle bisector of the tangents (T) of the reference points on the ends of the curved track piece and one of the two radii.
