Abstract: A dynamic lumbar realignment system is provided. A stabilizing and compressive strap is configured to be positioned onto a body garment with a pelvic cover, a waistband, a left thigh short sleeve and a right thigh short sleeve or is configured to be positioned onto a user with a pelvis, a waist, a left thigh and a right thigh along a therapeutic orientation path. The stabilizing and compressive strap comprises a first strap end and a second strap end. The therapeutic orientation path comprises a beginning and an end. The first strap end is fixed at the beginning while the second strap end is fixed at the end. The stabilizing and compressive strap is arranged along the therapeutic orientation path in such a way that abdominal compression, pelvic tilt and thigh rotation are dynamically integrated so as to provide and generate a therapeutic effect.

Abstract: A maternity garment, or bodysuit, configured to provide support and comfort to a pregnant woman. The garment may include an opening in the front of the garment exposing the stomach, or belly, of a woman. The garment may further include reinforced or compression material that passes underneath the belly providing support to the belly. Additionally, a reinforced back panel may be positioned on the back of the garment to provide additional support to the lower back of a pregnant woman. Straps may extend over the shoulders and cross in the back. Furthermore, a support strap may pass under the breasts as well. The garment may include a seamless one-piece fabric and may be a bikini or thong cut back depending on a woman's preference to provide both comfort and style.

Abstract: An orthopedic device is provided for treating complications of the hip and has means for trochanter compression, pelvis support, lumbar compression, variously directed straps, and thigh support. The trochanter compression and an internal/external rotation strap provide pain relief through compression and skin protection, unloading of joints through compression and sealing, and unloading by load transfer. Means for adjustably dosing of straps enables pain management and ease of use.

Abstract: The present invention provides body-shaping apparel designed to lift and support the lower portion of a person's buttocks relative to the top of the person's thighs that include a pair of loop straps that are dimensioned to encircle and engage the top of a person's thigh at the juncture of the thigh and buttock and to lift and support a buttock upwardly relative to the top of the person's thigh.

Abstract: A (short or long) girdle constituted including, in an area fitting over a wearer's body, tightening portions for which the magnitude of the tightening force varies with direction. The tightening fabric portions 21 each run from above the anal cleft, passing above the left or right buttock to the vicinity of the left or right greater trochanter when the girdle is being worn, and the tightening force in the direction in which each tightening fabric portion 21 runs is made to be low. Moreover, supplementary tightening fabric portions 22 are provided running along the tightening fabric portions 21 in front of the tightening fabric portions 21, and the tightening force in the direction in which each supplementary tightening fabric portion runs is made to be low.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a maternal protector. The maternal protector has at least a flexible protection device and a pocket in a pocket positioning material. The pocket receives a portion of the flexible protection device. The pocket positioning material positions the pocket over a mother to allow the protection device to be positioned over at least a portion of the mother's uterus.

Abstract: A device for supporting a garment having a slip-resistant material impregnated into a support material, wherein selective placement of the device onto a garment increases the friction between garment and the wearer's skin without deforming the contact surface, thus helping to prevent the garment from sliding relative to the wearer's skin.

Abstract: A clothing arrangement is disclosed. The clothing arrangement includes a crotch area and a pant leg secured to the crotch area. The pant leg has (i) a lateral inner area and (ii) an interior lateral lower edge. The clothing arrangement also includes a stay member secured to the lateral inner area of the pant leg such that the stay member substantially prevents the interior lateral lower edge from moving toward the crotch area when the pant leg is worn by a person.

Abstract: A body shaping undergarment is disclosed. A plurality of fabric panels are fixed together to form the undergarment and define a first leg opening, a second leg opening and a waist opening. An elastic waist band is disposed around at least a portion of the circumference of the waist opening, and a first and a second elastic leg band are respectively disposed around at least a portion of a circumference of the first leg opening and the second leg opening. A pair of elastic buttock support panels are fixed to the undergarment and disposed so that each elastic buttock support panel elastically supports a respective buttock of a wearer. The pair of elastic buttock support panels is integrally fixed to a same fabric panel of the plurality of fabric panels, and each one of the pair of elastic buttock support panels is integrally fixed to a respective same fabric panel of the plurality of fabric panels as a the first elastic leg band and the second elastic leg band.

Abstract: An undergarment is disclosed having a front fabric panel and a back fabric panel fixed together to form an undergarment having a hollow tubular shape. The undergarment is open at a top end to define an open waist opening and open at a bottom end to define an open hip opening. The front fabric panel has a width longer than a width of the back fabric panel. An elastic waist band having a width of at least one and one-half inches is disposed around the circumference of the waist opening. The elastic waist band has an elasticity effective to constrain and shape the waistline of a wearer. A pair of elastic leg straps are disposed at the hip opening. Each elastic leg strap has a first end fixed to the front fabric panel and a second end fixed to the back fabric panel.
