Abstract: A compression leotard is provided to aid the performance of athletes where compression panels are incorporated to mimic and support specific muscle groups, while aiding muscle metabolism and protecting joints. Panels are sized and positioned to apply a targeted pressure over a known area, such as hips, shoulders and spine, to reduce inflammation and stress on joints in the body core.
Abstract: A knitted athletic performance garment includes a seamless panel to cover a portion of a wearer's body, a first performance zone and a second performance zone formed in the seamless panel, wherein the first performance zone is formed of a first warp knit stitch construction and has a first modulus, wherein the second performance zone is formed of a second warp knit stitch construction and has a second modulus, wherein the first warp knit stitch construction is different from the second warp knit stitch construction, wherein the first modulus is different from the second modulus, and wherein the difference in modulus between the first performance zone and the second performance zone is due to the difference in stitch construction between the first performance zone and the second performance zone.

Abstract: The orthopedic support garment includes a garment body made of stretchable fabric and configured to be worn in a form-fitting manner on the upper body of a wearer. The garment body has a front body portion, a rear body portion joined to the front body portion, and right and left sleeve portions attached to the front and rear body portions. Also provided is at least one tensor band laid out along one of the front and rear body portions in a manner intended to substantially correspond to at least one of the fascial lines extending along the upper body of the wearer. When the garment is worn by the wearer, the at least one tensor band may be placed in tension so as to provide proprioceptive feedback to the wearer during movement.
Abstract: An embodiment configured according to principles of the invention includes a band constructed of a material, wherein the band has a configuration and the material is sufficiently elastic so that the band conforms to, but does not shape a region of a body that extends from below the body's navel to below the body's hips.
Abstract: A torso-shape controlling, lower back supporting garment comprising a garment having control fabric panel portions adapted to extend in waist shape controlling relation to torso front, back and sides; the control fabric panel portions include zones positioned to provide rigidity at the torso front and back and to yieldably resiliently stretch generally horizontally at the torso sides, whereby support is provided at the lower back, and an hourglass torso shape at the waist is produced. Abstract: A form fitting garment is provided which accommodates a large abdomen of a user. The garment is maintained in form fitting contact with the abdomen and a remainder of the user covered thereby by being formed generally of a first stretchable material. The garment includes a waistband which is expandable and which is also adjustable in size and a front panel which is connected to a front portion of the waistband and which extends downwardly therefrom to cover the abdomen of the user. This front panel is made of an extra stretchable material which is more stretchable than the first stretchable material, and optionally is supportive. The garment can also include an extra stretchable and supportive back panel which is connected to a back portion of the waistband and which extends downwardly therefrom to cover the buttocks of the user. A crotch is connected between the front panel and the back to cover the crotch of the user, and the crotch is either extra stretchable or supportive.
Abstract: A corset is provided for the alleviation of lumbago which has a non-stretchable section formed at a portion corresponding to the lumbar region in the center of a user's back with elastic core elements respectively connected to left and right side edges of the non-stretchable section, and a gel pad attached detachably to the non-stretchable section to deform and fill a gap between the user's lumbar back surface and the non-stretchable section during use.
Abstract: An exercise garment especially adapted for use by expectant mothers consists of an abdominal and breast support band that surrounds and supports the uterine area and includes breast support cups. The abdominal and breast support band is of double thickness elastic material and is affixed to a pair of elastic tights. It also includes shoulder straps that cross in the back and are fixed to the breast support cups on the side in the vicinity of the waistline. Also included is a sternum band.
