A primary fastener separably couples and uncouples an opening in the garment. An adjustment assembly has a left tensioner with secondary fasteners and a right tensioner with secondary fasteners. A plurality of left apertures are adjacent to the left tensioner. A plurality of right apertures are adjacent to the right tensioner. Each of a plurality of cords has a left end coupled to the left tensioner and a right end coupled to an associated right tensioner. Each of the plurality of cords passes through associated left and right apertures.

Abstract: A wearable massage and/or compression device for applying controllable scrolling or intermittent sequential forces, such as compression forces, to the body and limbs of a user comprises an elongated fabric body sized to encircle a limb of a user, one or more shape-memory wires carried by the fabric body and configured to apply a compression pressure to the limb through the fabric body upon changing shape in response to a stimulus, and a micro-processor based controller for selectively actuating the one or more shape-changing elements to reduce the effective diameter of the device encircling the limb, to thereby apply pressure to the limb.

Abstract: A supporter includes a body section having a back-contact section, a first auxiliary band section of which one end is fixed to the top end of a left side of the back-contact section and the other end is fixed to the bottom end of a right side of the back-contact section, a second auxiliary band section forming a pair with the first auxiliary band section, a first ring arranged to slide between the one end and the other end of the first auxiliary band section, a second ring forming a pair with the first ring, a first adjustment band section of which one end is fixed to loops on a right end side of the body section and the other end can be fastened to loops on the right end side of the body section, and a second adjustment band section forming a pair with the first adjustment band section.

Abstract: A corset-type orthotic device is provided for treatment of lower back pain by causing uniform abdominal compression. The corset utilizes vertically spaced apart straps which overlap at the front of the corset to cause tightening of the corset about the torso of the wearer to increase the abdominal compression. The straps are connected at one end to lateral margins of a front panel of the corset and extend rearwardly through metal rings fixed to lateral margins of a rear panel of the corset. The straps then extend forwardly for joinder at the front panel. Upper and lower ones of the straps are also coupled and extend through another metal ring which allows the straps to vary in length to accommodate the variations in circumference of the lower ribs, waist and hips.
